Disclaimer: I don't own Harry Potter, or this song, which is owned by the Mudbloods.

A/N: This is my second entry for Wizard Rock Challenge, which is being run by Rosa Clearwater.
The song is titled It's Dragons! It's Mermaids! It's a Maze! by the Mudbloods.

I have decided to set this up quite odd. This is set wayyyyy in the future, after the death of Harry Potter. And, yes, even Harry has to die at some point. This is going to switch perspectives from Cedric to Harry, when they are in heaven.

I know that it's weird, but please give it a try.

One last thing: the italics are the lyrics to the song.

Cedric's POV:

"Let's work on the first task," Harry says to me. It's pretty boring up here in heaven, so we are writing a song about the Tri-wizard Tournament.

"Ok," I say, and think for a minute. I begin to sing

I was getting ready
For the first stage of the Tri-Wizard Tournament…

But, I didn't have to worry to much because Harry told me that

IT'S DRAGONS!

Actually, that verse worked well.

"Your turn," I tell Harry.

Harry's POV:

"Your turn," Cedric says to me.

Hmmmm…..the second task.

I decide to repeat the first two lines, to give the song a bit of form.

So, I sing

I was getting ready
For the second stage of the Tri-Wizard Tournament…

And not getting far….until Cedric, and Myrtle helped me to see that

IT'S MERMAIDS!

"Next task," I say, handing it back to Cedric.

Cedric's POV:

Harry says, "Next task," to tell me to take the next verse.

I use the same first to lines.

I was getting ready
For the third stage of the Tri-Wizard Tournament…

And we all knew that

IT'S A MAZE!

"We should probably elaborate on the third task," I say, referring to the events that led to my death.

Harry's POV:

"We should probably elaborate on the third task," he says.

This is the difficult verse.

I think for a second, remembering the task, and the time directly before going to the graveyard.

I start singing the events

Then me and Cedric reached for the cup,

We were so happy that we finally came up with a solution, as opposed to just staring each other, as I tried to take care of my leg.
We thought we were in some good luck,

But we weren't
But then it took us to,
A graveyard, a graveyard, a graveyard, a graveyard.

"Not bad," Cedric says to me.

"Thanks. Now you finish it off." I respond.

Cedric's POV:

"Now you finish it off," he tells me.

I think about the fear I felt. What happened?

The Dark Lord, he appeared,

Oh, the terror.
And I was oh, so scared…
AHHHHHHHHHHHH!

"Good ending," Harry laughs.

Yes, yes it was.

A/N: Hope you guys liked it. Please review. Thanks!
