Sakura sat on the cold stone ground, her eyes blindfolded and her hands tied. She had been sitting in god knows where for well over an hour after she was caught. It had started out as a routine mission. Go there, spy, learn, and come back. But the sudden ambush no one had expected had thrown off her plans a bit.
There where four ninjas coming right for her and she fought the best she could, taking out three of them before two more jumped out and over powered her. She heard the screams of her comrades, that was when they'd put on the blind fold.
She had been quite surprised when she felt herself being picked up and someone running. Sakura had been expecting them to knock her out or kill her. And that was when she had been dropped down on the ground of what she suspected was a cell. And that's where she's been…Disgusted with herself. How could she let this happen? How could she have been so weak?! Sakura let out a groan and a loud, un-lady like curse.
"That's not very nice,
Sakura." She froze as she recognized the voice.
"Sa…Sasuke?"
She stuttered slightly before regaining her composure. Sakura didn't
get a response but suddenly she felt a hand on her shoulder and her
body went rigid with anger and slight fear. She'd long since given
up the hope that he was still the same…That he was still the Sasuke
she loved.
"You've changed a lot since the last time I saw
you. You would have been crying your eyes out back then." He said,
his voice low.
Sakura tried to say something else but stopped
immediately as she felt his hand on her face. Sasuke brushed her
cheek lightly before slipping off her blind fold. Her eyes widened as
she saw him kneeling in front of her, holding the black piece of
cloth and that same old smirk she remembered. Her eyes took him in,
staring slightly at the white skin that his open shirt showed. Sasuke
smirked more and surprised her even more when he took his hand and
cupped her chin, forcing her green eyes to stare into his. Sakura
felt herself gulp as he leaned closer a bit.
"Sakura…" He
said.
"Y-yeah?" She answered shakily.
"I'm sorry I left
you before and...Thank you." Sasuke repeated the words he'd
spoke the night he left as he leaned forward the last few inches and
placed his lips softly to hers.
