Christmas in Africa
The party's up
I'm feeling cheer
Its Christmas time
So no more tears.
People singing Christmas carols
Santa's such a jolly fellow
But do you ever stop and think
About Christmas time
In Africa.
No jolly old saint nick,
No Christmas tree with lights.
No mistletoe to be hung,
Nor presents in the night.
They sit around a campfire
To keep there children warm
There only wish for Christmas
Is to live one day more.
So this Christmas Eve
I'm not gonna beg
For presents, nor' money, or even a sleigh.
Ill give all my toys to the
Hungry and poor
Just knowing in Africa its
Christmas once more.
