Why Neil?
Why'd you do it? You could have had so much. An ivy league education, a large salary, a respected job in medicine. Eventually you may have had your own wife and children. Why did you give that all away? What did the ideas of a few idealistic poets and a teacher with his head in the sky offer you that was worth more then your life. Why let the fleeting success of being in a play take all that away?
Your mother and I wanted every opportunity for you. We gave so much for you. Why was a little obedience too much to ask? A little patience for a few years and you could have had everything you could ever want. Why did you insist on disobeying us Neil? All we asked was for you to focus on you education; yet you repeatedly insisted on spending your time on frivolous endeavors. Why Neil? What could your mother and I have done wrong that could have pushed you over the edge. Was a little attention to your school work too much to ask? Medical school is so competitive Neil; you could have made it. I know you could have.
My mother and I miss you Neil. Everybody misses you. Why did you do this to us Neil? Why did you do this to yourself? Why?
Signed
Your father

Maybe I will write some more from the POV of a few other charaters. I'll consider it. Feel free to express your opinion on the matter.
