Serenity, Goku's Neice?
Chapter 6

Serenity followed ChiChi into a nice sized room, it was painted dark blue and had a queen
size bed in the middle. "Well, heres where you'll be staying, the bathroom is just down the hall.If
you need anything, just call okay?" Serenity watched the older woman smile, "dinner will be in a
bit, Bulma and Vegita are coming also." Serenity nodded, "thank you so much for you hospitality
and kindness." she bowed to her waist.
ChiChi watched the whole display in fastination, this young girl was by far the most well
mannered child she'd ever seen, but there was something in her eyes that made you want to comfort
her. 'well of course she needs comforting, she just found out her father was dead!' she yelled to
herself. She felt her maternal instincts open up to this young lady, "hey, if you ever need to
talk, I mean about anything, just come to me, i'll be glad to listen." she inveloped(AN:spelling..?)
Serenity in a bear hug (AN: my uncle always does that..it's sooo annyoing...), she could feel the
girl stiffen, obviously she was not used to such a display of emotion. 'I wonder what happened to
make her this way....'
Serenity's eyes widened as the woman, ChiChi hugged her. She nervously bit her lower lip,
what was she supposed to do? Hug her back....no, she couldn't show that she was nervous, 'control..
keep your control...' she felt herself relax as she repeated it in her head like a mantra. As ChiChi
let go of her, she began to look her over, "you, young lady, will need a new wardrobe..." she said,
eyebrows lifting at the sight of the dusty black boots, she began to walk away, when she looked
back and started to full Serenity along, "come on, we only have 4 hours until the malls close. Serenity
sighed, she had a feeling that this would be a loong day.
Trunks and Goten were out in the front yard, sparring, when they saw ChiChi burst out of
the house, dragging a very reluctant Serenity with her. They watched as Serenity took on a look
of panick and mouthed, 'help me' at them. "I pity her, I remember the first time mom took me
underwear shopping.." he shivered at the thought. Trunks began to laugh, "yeah, you couldn't
show your face at school for weeks!" he pretended to wipe a tear from his eye and fell over
laughing. "You are soooooo dead!" Goten yelled, jumping after him.
Serenity sat in the passenger seat while ChiChi drove towards the mall, she knew it would
be easier just to fly to wherever they were going, but she doubted that ChiChi could fly. Looking
over, she watched as ChiChi stuck her head out the window, yelling at another driver. She grinned
as she asked, "Miss ChiChi, can I drive?". ChiChi rolled up the window and muttered something which
sounded incredibly like 'baka' and looked over to Serenity. She looked doubtful for a moment, but
nodded, " I suppose, but be careful, I don't feel like having Goku come and bail us out of jail.."
She smiled and stopped the car, she opened the door and waited as Serenity hopped into the drivers
seat, then took her place in the passenger's.
