Hey there! This is my official story of the month, even though it's not 1,000 words. It's a complete thing, and that's all that matters right now (since there are only two days left of February.)

I went dark mode. I thought that Green Beetle was supposed to stop me from going dark mode. I thought I was safe…

Green Beetle. If I could do something, I'd take him down, or die trying. But no. I can only sit back and watch myself ruin everything. Impulse warned me about this…

…But I didn't listen. Or, rather, I did. I acted. And that was the worst thing I could've done.

I took him out first. I guess I should be thankful about that; at least he didn't have to see me like this. But where is he now? Where is the team? Black Beetle took them somewhere, but nobody will tell me where. They're afraid that I'll regain control of myself and rescue them. And they have every right to be afraid, 'cause when I get control, they're dead. I don't care if that's against every superhero moral or rule- I'm going to kill them. My hermano, my Impulse, got hurt. My team got hurt.

And that's not acceptable.

I ran.

When the team was being captured, I ran. I'm not going back in any tube. I've spent so long in one…

For now, I'm hiding out in the War World. Slowly, too slowly for my liking, I'm taking these guys out. Passing patrols get shot down before they can see me. In this place, survival isn't easy. But I have to make it. The plan is to somehow get the team back. After that…

Escape.

Yeah, I ran.

And I have no regrets.

They're gone. The entire team just… vanished. Blue Beetle says that the Boom Tube opened, and everyone got sucked out. But… why didn't Wonder Girl fly away? Or Beast Boy? Was the tube too quick for them?

There is Boom Tube particles everywhere, so the story seems to pan out. I'd like to ask more questions, but I figure he needs rest after this. So I asked Green Beetle to watch out for him.

I'm not sure what I think about him. Miss Martian says he's on our side…

Maybe I'm just being paranoid. After being Batman's sidekick for so long, I guess I suspect everyone of doing wrong.

Maybe I just need to be a little more open.

This is perfect. The Blue Beetle is under our control, and the key is ours. We have control of the War World. Our plan for world domination is going better than what we could've ever hoped for.

Earth will soon be ours.
