Yoshizilla-Rhedosaurus: I had the thought of giving Silver The Hedgehog different sorts of jobs to make him that guy you always see at a different job. And Toadette just happens to be the girl to encounter him on such an occasion. And of course with me rewriting this I had to throw Dry Bowser in somewhere.

Toadette hummed merrily as she walked into the Fun Flower shop in the Coconut Mall, looking at all the pretty flowers and cutely up to the counter, gasping in shock as she saw Silver The Hedgehog there.

"Silver! What are you doing here?" Toadette asked as she moved her hands about, being pleasantly surprised.

Silver chuckled while waving to Toadette with his right hand. "Oh, hey Toadette. I got fired from the Pizza Hut in Station Square, so I'm trying my hands at all sorts of different jobs."

"I wouldn't have thought that you would be working in a flower shop!" Toadette exclaimed.

Silver chuckled as he folded his arms, nodding his head as he opened his eyes. "Well, it's nice, quiet, and pleasant. Plus, you get to be around flowers. I couldn't ask for anything better."

Unfortunately, a giant mutated Piranha Plant appeared behind Silver, with the monstrous plant actually being the nefarious Lava Piranha from Mt. Lavalava on Lavalava Island. Toadette gasped in shock as Silver tried holding back the monstrous Piranha Plant with his green psychic, but it was no use as the Lava Piranha grabbed Silver with its central main head, shaking him violently as the other two heads spewed red hot flames all over the flower shop, causing it to catch on fire.

"Oh no! This is bad!" Toadette exclaimed in horror as she shook with fright, her hands on her face as the other buying customers ran out of the store screaming, the fire alarm being set as the Lava Piranha gobbled down Silver, staring right at Toadette.

"Why must these things always happen to me...?" Silver groaned to himself as he went down Lava Piranha's body.

Dry Bowser's reading the newspaper while this is happening, with the skeletal reptile not being surprised by this turnabout.

"Why is this not surprising?" Dry Bowser contemplated to himself as he decided not to get involved, remembering a time that had him previously like this.

"Why are you not using your fire?" Toadette chimed in a flashback that involved the pair dealing with a different incarnation of the Lava Piranha while within its volcanic lair on the redundantly named island for which it originated from.

Dry Bowser chucked his bones at the enormous fire spewing plant. "Because it can spout more flames than I could, and there's better methods to deal with a plant immune to fire!"

"But that doesn't make sense!" Toadette yelled as she felt the urge to break wind, proceeding to make the heated area even more hot with her methane.

"It doesn't need to make sense when you take in different perspectives!" Dry Bowser snapped as the plant knocked his skull off his bony body.

And thus the heat rising battle continued as Dry Bowser took on the Lava Piranha with Toadette farting loudly in the background.

Dry Bowser rubbed his hardened chin as he murmured. "Hmm, I suppose I'll stick around to see what happens, but I'm staying out of it."
