Authors Note: Hiya, people! This is my second fic, about Gaara. I hope you like it. Pleez like it! If you don't like Gaara, don't read this fic! Please R&R! Enjoy!

It was dark in the Village Hidden in the Sand. Since it was night, and the sand usually blew during the day, it was pretty quiet. It seemed as though nobody was awake. Except a young boy who never slept. Gaara sat on top of a roof staring at the moon as he always did. Something was different this night though, he was thinking about his past. He usually never did this, since his past was so sad. He did tonight though.

He recalled his mother, which he did not remember much about. He remembered his uncle who tried to kill him. He remembered how much the villagers who hated him. The worst memory was his father, he hated his father. His father tried to kill him more than he could count. His father was the one who put this stupid spirit inside him. He hated him, he hated everybody, and the one he hated most of all himself, his spirit.

While he thought about all these things, a poem ran thru his mind…

When I die, will anyone care?

When I die, will you be there?

I was placed with a seal that kept you in.

When I die, will I still see your grin?

When you came, our souls became one.

Now that you're here, I can't have fun.

You killed my mother.

You killed my uncle, he was like a brother.

This mark on my forehead keeps me apart.

It makes me wonder, do I have a heart?

People hate me, because I kill.

I only do that for our soul to fill.

When I die, will anyone care?

When I die, will you be there?

Gaara hated his painful memories. He wished they would go away. He wanted to erase them. Them, and his stupid spirit. He wished he was never brought into this world.

He was still looking at the moon, still thinking. His short red hair blew lightly in the breeze.

When I die, will anyone care?

When I die, will you be their?

Authors Note: Did you like it? If you did, review! If you don't, I will be very sad!
