Take this job and...! It's Ember Nickel's Project Philia again! This month's theme was c o-workers with an extra prompt of illness. If it doesn't make much sense, this would take place sometime during the summer that the Order was reconstituted, and it's supposed to be one of Tonks' first meetings.

I don't own anything you recognize. But I like to write Sirius and Tonks :D

"Cut it out," Tonks whispered as quietly as she could while suppressing giggles. "You're going to get me in trouble."

Sirius continued to send tickling jinxes to his right, ignoring the pink-haired woman's attempts to negotiate. "I'll walk you every day for a month. I'll stay out of your room. I won't comment negatively on anything you do. I'll keep my nose out of your business. I'll stop telling people that you have obscure illnesses. Please stop it Sirius, I don't want Mad-Eye to think I can't behave myself enough to be in the Order."

As if on cue, Mad-Eye Moody cleared his throat loudly, looking at Tonks pointedly. She cleared her throat back. He scowled at her and continued to address the room at large.

"Not afraid of big bad Mad-Eye?" Sirius teased.

"Of course not. If anything, he taught me two things: fear nothing, and constant vigilance." She laughed to herself at her joke and the two cousins fell hushed, listening to Moody's lecture.

"Oi!" Sirius shouted some ten minutes later as the Order listened intently to Dumbledore's closing words.

"Excuse me?" Dumbledore looked at Sirius, his kind old eyes shining amusedly.

"She got me!" he yelled, drawing all eyes to Tonks.

She cleared her throat once more. "What did I tell you about constant vigilance?"
