Chapter One: Destiny
Today is the start, the start of my memories, 10 years ago. I remembered every moment so clearly. The heavy, white, falling snow, those big red glowing eyes, the sharp fangs in his mouth, laden with blood, the desire for mine.
I would never have imagine he was a vampire, until I saw those fangs. Those sharp fangs.
I thought I was going to die. He was getting closer, about to make a meal from me. I was so scared. I didn't know where to go. I was trapped.
Suddenly, an immensly beautiful boy swooped into my sight. He was still really young but he managed to fight the large vampire off. He took me into his care; he protected me. He swore he loved me.
His name was Kuran, Kaname.
After the fight ended, Kaname brought me to one of his good friend's place. Charlie Swan. He took care of me as my father would have. I was his adopted child. I really prefer calling him Charlie but he really prefers if I'd call him "PaPa."
From then on, I was immensly afraid of vampires. But a little while later, I found out that Kaname, too, was a vampire. But he was a good one, unlike the one who tried to suck my blood.
A few years later, approximately three, I was home alone and it was late. Charlie opened the door. In his arm, there was a boy, he had a lovely shade of brown hair and beautiful, but rare, ocher colored eyes. He was pale white and he was the most beautiful thing I've ever seen.
Charlie said that his name was Edward and that his family was killed by a bad vampire. He too told me to take Edward into the house and let him take a bath. I followed his instructions clearly.
I just took Edward to the bathroom, and helped him clean off. I found a large would on his left shoulder and neck. He didn't say anything. He just stood there, letting me clean the wound.
"Is this truly how humanity shall end? Being destructed by an invisible monster?" i thought to myself.
