Chapter 1

The road was empty. Well, it wasn't empty, but there weren't many cars on the road at this time. I felt like I had been driving for days rather than hours. Looking in my rear view I saw the blue, partly cloudy sky that I loved, fading in the distance. As this thought wandered in my head I heard raindrops hitting the windshield of my Black Mustang. I searched for the button for my windshield wipers.

I leaned forward to look out of my windshield. The sky was a dark shade of gray, and it released the rain in sheets. I sat back in my chair, and let out a sigh. How was I supposed to write an article about a place that was like this? Soon I heard a buzzing sound. Looking around I realized that it was coming from my paper covered passenger seat. Shuffling through the papers, and folders, and found my phone.

"Hello, this is Violet Silver." I answered

"Violet its Damien," he was my editor, and my brother.

"Hey Damien, what do you need?"

"Where are you right now?" He asked

"I actually don't know. Wait! There's a sign, ummm…somewhere called Forks Washington."

"Perfect!" he exclaimed. "That's where you are supposed to be. Have fun."

"Wait! Damien! What am I-" it was too late he hung up. "Damn it!"
