It was Emiko's first time going to the host club. She was going to tell Kyoya she had a crush on him. She had for so long now. She walked nervously to the two wooden doors that led to the old abandoned music room where he would be. Kyoya Ootori. She opened the door slowly. Tamaki came quickly to her with a big smile. "Why, hello there my dear." He smiled at her. She blushed. "Um, I-, where's Kyoya?" She stuttered. "Oh." Tamaki was surprised. He seemed slightly offended she wasn't completely head over heals in love yet. "Kyoya, you have a guest!" Tamaki shouted going of into a corner somewhere. Kyoya approached Emiko smiling. "Welcome to the host club." He smiled. Emiko turned bright red and tried hard to speak. "h-hello Kyoya" She replied. "You're name is Emiko, correct?" He asked. "Yes, that is correct, and you are Kyoya Ootori." Emiko nodded. "Yes, that is correct." Kyoya said. He pulled out a chair for her to sit. He sat across from her still holding his little black book. He quickly wrote something down and set it down on the table. "What are you always writing in there?" Emiko asked. "Oh. Well. What don't I write in there?" He smiled seeming to avoid the question. "Do you like being part of the host club?" Emiko asked. "Yes. You look very beautiful today Miss Emiko." Kyoya said. "Oh. Thank you very much!" She blushed and stared into the tea cup in front of her. "Listen Kyoya, there is something I have been meaning to tell you for a long time-"Emiko was interrupted by Tamaki's voice rang loud "Kyoya!"
Emiko looked down disappointed. "I am truly sorry Miss Emiko, but I need to be excused." Kyoya apologized walking over to Tamaki. Emiko stood up and left. "I didn't get to tell him…" She whispered to herself as she left. Her black hair fell in front of her face and she walked sadly outside. "Oh hello Miss Emiko!" Haruhi called out to her from behind. "Hello Haruhi." Emiko smiled. "You're in my math class, Im sorry, but could you remind me of the homework?" Haruhi asked. "Sure."
"Is something wrong?" Haruhi asked studying Emiko's face. "No, nothing." Emiko said turning away. "Does this have something to do with Kyoya-sempi? I saw the way you were staring at him earlier." Haruhi asked. Emiko blushed. "What happened?" Haruhi asked. "Well, I really like Kyoya, and I didn't get the chance to tell him today." Emiko explained. "Don't worry; do you want me to tell him for you?" Haruhi offered. "Thanks, but no. I have to do this myself." Emiko said.
