Prologue
Always ignored
I was always ignored. I was ignored by everyone. Reever, Kanda(though that's understandable, he doesn't like finders), Lenalee, everyone...except Hevlaska and Allen Walker. I was ignored by my own "siblings". It just wasn't fair. Though I knew why they ignored me, they were always focused on her and her friends. I was "the useless finder" or "the stupid girl". They didn't even know my name. They just knew me as the "sister" of two great people.
They didn't even know how much she hated me.
I was in the training room, training whilst to music I had listened in my childhood. It was quiet enough, nobody else but me could hear it, so she wouldn't find out. My so called "sister" never liked me for some reason.
I hacked and slashed away at the dummies with my katana, until I heard somebody shout, "What are you doing here?" I turned to face the voice, which just so happened to be my "sister".
"I-I'm training..." I murmured back.
"Why? You don't have any innocence, you'd just kill Akuma without saving their soul!" she snorted.
"I-I'm sorry, I won't train here anymore..." I apologized.
"Good! Jeez, you're so useless!" she shouted. I winced and walked out of the training room, my strawberry blond bangs covering my eyes. 'why does she hate me? Is it because I never had to go through what she did? Is it because she just doesn't like me? I know I'm not her sister, but she doesn't need to know. They don't even know I had a spell book and the katana my father had under mom's giant cape when they found me a while ago. It's been so long since I've been home. Damn monsters! Now I'm stuck here, away from aunt Luna and my mom and dad...I wish I could have sent me some where other than here before they died... ' I thought sadly. A single tear slipped down my cheek.
Walking to my room, everybody ignored me. Again. I sighed, and instead of going to my room, I went down to Hevlaska, my only friend in this accursed life. On the way there, I started humming. It was called "Tragic Marionette"(I don't own!). When I realized I was humming, I stopped. Walking to the elevator that lead to my friend, it started to go down and I held on to the railing.
"Hevlaska? Good afternoon, my friend." I greeted the woman.
"Good afternoon to you too, Madoka." she replied. I sighed. Why had my parents given me that name? Though I liked the sound of it, Madoka Gabriev...
Yes, Gabriev. I was the only daughter of Lina Inverse(now Gabriev) and Gourry Gabriev.
