Please remember that I own nothing.
Kevin sat crossed legged on the floor, his eyes glued to the screen, but his mind was some place else. Tears dripped from his eyes. The throbbing of his heart was almost too much for him to take.
Not many people had seen this side of him, a side he tried so desperately to keep hidden from the world around him. They wouldn't understand, he could possibly be ridiculed for it. Hated even?
Kevin knew this love was sinful, something he, not even in his bravest moments, dared to dream of. And yet, here he was…going against his very essence.
"Oh God." He whispered. Tears fell like rain down his pale cheeks. "Please, no…it can't be."
'They had always pulled through it in the end. Nothing has ever stopped them before, this can't be the end.' Kevin thought to himself.
Kevin hugged his knees tighter; they had been trough too much to call it quits. But he couldn't think of one logical idea to save them now.
There was truly no hope. Kevin sobbed even harder; saline clung to his thick lashes as he bit roughly into his lip.
"I have been it…and always shall be...y-your friend." Kevin could hardly spit out the last sentence, as he mouthed along with the Vulcan.
He slowly brought his hand up to the screen, holding it in the exact place as the alien hand before him, and muttered these last words,
"Live long and prosper."
Kevin's true love will forever be, Star Wars. However, Star Trek will always have an everlasting place in his heart as well.
A/N: Kevin is a guy after my own heart! I hope you enjoyed it.
