Dino Attack
I awoke to the sound of waves crashing into the shore. I sat up and deep breath of the ocean breeze. Where am I? I thought to myself. I tried to remember what I was doing here, how I got here; anything. Nothing, not a single memory, my mind was completely blank. Save for one small detail; my name. Ziya. By my feet was a small pack, inside was a small bundle of food. At least I won't starve. I continued to look through the bag, there was a small journal. Quickly I flipped trough the pages, there were pages missing. Other than that it was completely empty.
I turned to venture out into the mountains behind me, when an arrow flew by my ear. I yelped and turned to face my attacker. I was astonished at what I saw; a dinosaur with a bow. I couldn't move out of both fear and awe; that is until it shot again, this time sticking into my leg. I fell down in pain, I was loosing too much blood. I tried to stand back up only to fall back down. I looked back up the dinosaur was walking towards me. I pulled the arrow out, all the while tearing my flesh. I turned and started running away, I didn't get very far as I had reached the ocean again. It released another arrow this time digging deep into my chest. I knew I was done for. Until I heard a voice, a female voice. " Teep! What did you find?" I saw a girl with bright red hair run over towards the dinosaur. She looked at the dinosaur, then towards me. I couldn't keep my strength up and I collapsed. " Oh God!" She yelled, she ran to me. " You'll be okay. Rythian! I need your help!" I looked towards her as my vision faded, and I slipped into unconsciousness.
Zoey's POV
"Oh God!" I Rushed over to the girl who had collapsed in front of me. When I made it to her I knew straight away she wasn't from around here. Oh my lord! There was so much blood coming from her leg. " You'll be okay." I tried to keep her conscious, but I needed Rythian. " Rythian!" I shouted, " I need your help!" I sat there watching this girl slip unconscious, knowing I couldn't do anything to stop her.
" What happened?" Rythian said when he got to me. " I think Teep shot her! I don't know why, but we need to help!" I said, I couldn't hide my panic anymore. " Okay, you go on up ahead and get things ready. I'll carry her back." He said calmly. My panic faded, how could I panic with him being so calm. " Alright, I will." And I returned to Blackrock.
Rythian's POV
She's loosing too much blood. I thought, I don't think she's going to make it. I flew back to Blackrock as fast as I could. " Zoey, get me a bowl of water and a rag, quickly!" I put her down on the bed in the extra room. I need to get this arrow out, but how? Zoey came in with the water, " We need to get that arrow out of her chest!" She said, I started cleaning up her leg. " Yes Zoey, I know this. But how are we going to do that without tearing up her organs?" Zoey looked shocked, " Do you think it hit anything?" I finished bandaging the girl's leg, " I don't know, Zoey. There's no way we could know." Zoey looked crestfallen, " Zoey we don't even know this person, what if she was sent to spy on us?" I tried to reason with her, get her to calm down. " It doesn't matter Rythian! She needs our help!" She yelled. " I understand you want to help her, but we don't even have the proper equipment." I said, then I got an idea. I could see Zoey had the same idea. " Duncan." We said together.
