The Raven In Slytherin

Raven Chase is the last remaining member of the Chase family. Her parents were killed mysteriously killed on the night she was born. Their bodies weren't found in the house or near the neighborhood, but in Bulgaria. Raven lives in the city she was born in, London, with her godmother. She starts at Hogwarts the same year as Harry Potter, the Boy Who Lived.

(Hello, I'm new here, and this is my Harry Potter fan-fiction story :). BTW, By The Way, I DO NOT OWN HARRY POTTER!)

Prologue~

'Chase, Raven!' Professor McGonagall called out. A girl with chest-length raven hair and deep ocean blue eyes walked towards the Sorting Hat. The tables of the four houses of Hogwarts, Gryffindor, Slytherin, Hufflepuff and Ravenclaw, looked anxiously, hoping for another wizard/witch to join their house. Raven sat on the stool as Professor McGonagall put the Sorting Hat on her head.

'SLYTHERIN!' the hat shouted. The Slytherins cheered with joy. Raven sat at the Slytherin table. She was the last one to be sorted. Professor Dumbledore gave a speech and they enjoyed the feast.

After the feast, two Slytherin prefects showed the first-years the way to the their House common room.

When they had walked quite a long way and finally reached a portrait that asked for the password, which the girl prefect gave, Raven looked to be relieved.

The prefects gave a long explanation of the common room and the way the Houses communicated with each other, like how they hated the Gryffindors, how the Hufflepuffs were scared of them, and how they were on a neutral communication with the Ravenclaws.

When it was all over, the first-years trudged their different ways to their dormitories, the girls one way and the boys another.
