At 7 o'clock that Friday evening, Harry received a summons to Dumbledore's office. He climbed the moving staircase and waited outside the door wondering what Dumbledore would want him for. He knocked.
'Come in' said Dumbledore heavily; making sure Harry would hear him.
'Sit down; there is something I have to tell you. There is no easy way to say this, but another part of the prophecy has been made.' He surveyed Harry through his half moon spectacles. Harry shifted in his chair and when Dumbledore remained silent, he prompted.
'Yeah…' Dumbledore took a deep breath,
'Harry' he said. 'It has been prophesised that whoever fathers a child first will find the key to defeating the other.'
It took a while for the effects of this statement to sink in. Eventually Harry said;
'So you mean I have to become a dad before Voldemort.' He paused, 'But I'm only sixteen. Does Voldemort know of this?'
'I'm not sure,' replied Dumbledore. 'But it's only a matter of time before he finds out!'
'But how?' Harry spluttered.
Dumbledore replied 'Harry, surely I don't have to explain!'
'But who and where? The boy and girl dorms are separate!'
Dumbledore replied 'there is a place being provided and Professor McGonagall is dealing with the female side of things; once the girl is pregnant she will be given special treatment to make the pregnancy faster. Our excellent matron, Madam Pomfrey, will care her for and from the moment the baby is born, you'll be a father. We have an advantage over Lord Voldemort at the moment and we must act on it. The girl will be brought up here in a few minutes; you must do it tonight if you wish to keep the advantage over Lord Voldemort.
