"Holy crap!" Nick exclaimed watching the dogs dashed off. "They certainly move fast."

"Of course. They don't want to lose the scent," Grissom explained.

"How do we keep up with them?" Nick asked.

Grissom grinned. "By running, of course."

Nick just looked at him.

"Well?"

"Well what?" Nick asked.

"Don't just stand there, start running."

Nick raced after the dogs, every so often swearing. Grissom shook his head in amusement before following Nick's lead.

Nick groaned. "Why did you have to use the dogs?"

Grissom looked over at Nick. "Nick you're a grown man, stop whining."

Nick pulled a face.

Grissom jogged past Nick. "Hurry up Nick, you could use the exercise."

"Exercise?" Nick muttered.

"Yes exercise. Just in case you haven't been getting enough," Grissom explained.

"I get plenty of exercise," Nick replied.

"I was referring to outside the bedroom."

Nick smiled cheekily. "Wouldn't you like to know?"

Grissom smirked. "Process, Nicky."

"Yeah, yea-wait."

"What's wrong?"

"Oh I don't believe it," Nick muttered.

"What?"

"I think we lost the dogs," Nick said.

Both CSI's had stopped running and looked around.

"I can see this being a downside for using dogs," Nick muttered.

Grissom glanced over.

Bark.

Bark.

"This way," Grissom said before jogging towards the dogs.

Nick sighed and followed.
