Twilight:

But You Said Forever

"'Night dad," I said, rushing up the stairs.

"Sleep well." Charlie replied coming out of his TV coma.

Oh I intend to, I thought to my self.

I opened the door to my room to find my own personal eye candy sitting on my old rocking chair, looking more like a Greek God than anybody had the right to.

"I really can't comprehend how you can tolerate these...things." Mr. Eye Candy said brandishing one of my romance novels.

"I mean it's a tad ridiculous when the words kiss and kissing are used over 100 times in a single chapter. Not to mention that some of these should be rated X-"

"You don't seem to mind when we kiss." I said interrupting his little rant early.

"How are you so sure?" Edward questioned.

"Just a hunch," I said flippantly.

"Really now," He said getting up from my chair and sauntering over to me, human speed.

I shrugged.

By now we were only about an inch apart. He was leaning in slowly, tantalizingly slow. Mean while my heart was getting more erratic by the millisecond, and I was silently praying not to faint. Again. Then my lips met his in a soft yet passionate kiss. Abruptly he pulled away looking into my eyes.

"Yes, that was complete torture." He said with a smile that could stop hearts, and was certainly doing damage to mine.

"I know, talk about long suffering."
