An Important Day
Nick liked to let his mind wander when he was driving. Something about the purr of the engine, his hands on the steering and the soft country music soothed him. And his thoughts invariably came back to one person. Greg. He didn't have to look at the mirror to know that he was smiling. Greg had always had that effect on him - right from the first day he started at the lab. And now 7 years into their relationship, he was still amazed by the fact that just thinking of Greg, filled him with such contentment . There were times when their fights got bad and things got rocky. Greg could be infuriating and patient and irritating and kind and rough and tender..and so full of love for Nick. And Nick loved him back with all his heart. And today, he had a ring his pocket and a question to ask.
