The Titans think of each other as family. Many, if not all of us have lost our biological (Raven taught me that word!) families, or like in Raven's case, never really had one. We all have our places, but I guess they kind of swap around depending on who you are and how you see them.
In the Titan family, Robin is definitely the dad. He makes us work, punishes us when we do something stupid (usually more training. blechh), but all in all cares about us. He can be a bit of a jerk sometimes, but in his mind he is doing what is best for everybody. He may try to be a tough guy, but he is really an okay dude when you get to know him. In some ways, he and I are a lot alike.
Star is the mother of the family. I know what you're thinking: "No way dude!" but think about it. She has a very protective nature, but is also very sweet. Like give-you-a-cavity sweet. She's also the one who keeps the "family" from fighting. She's the one who worries about us if we are hurt, or even if we take too long answering our communicators. She is the loving, caring person that keeps us all together. If she left, our team would fall apart in a second.
Cy is the big brother. Sure, he teases us (mostly me) a lot, but he is a great friend. He is always willing to listen to our problems and help in any way he can, even if it is just sitting quietly as we talk about something that is bugging us. He is dependable, and, I might add, the second best player of video games in the entire tower. Who is number one, you ask? ME of course! But enough about that.
Rae is the middle kid teenage sister. She kind of lives in her own world, and just vacations to the real one. Sometimes, okay, most of the time, she is sarcastic and even a little mean, but she really does care about us. She pretends to hate me, but I now I can always count on her to have my back. I mean, not literally, but, well, you get the point.
I feel like I'm probably the little brother of the family. I always try to cheer people up, keep the mood light, and make things fun, usually annoying my "brother" and "sister" in the process. I also love to goof off and act childish. After all, we are technically still kids. We're just kids that, you know, save the world and stuff.
I'm really glad to have this makeshift family. After I lost my real blood family, I found the Doom Patrol. They took me in and trained me to be a crime-fighter. They are still family to me. I have even called Ri- I mean Elastigirl mommy before (Please don't tell anyone about that). After the whole Brotherhood of Evil thing, I started hanging out with them again. It's been really nice to talk to them after so long. Anyway, I consider myself pretty lucky, maybe even the luckiest of all the Titans. I don't just have one awesome family, I have TWO!
