Light flows through the shadows, as shadows flow through the light. Tifa walks through the church with her daughter, Marlene. She stops and spots a chest. She walks over to the chest with her daughter. Looking down upon it, Marlene looks up to her mother. Tifa smiles and shakes her head at her. Tifa turns around to look behind her and stops frozen.
Darkness is rising out in the streets. People walk on by, without noticing the darkness devouring them. Tifa senses the foreboding of darkness surround the town, but she does not know exactly what it is. Marlene becomes worried for her mother is acting strange.
In the church, Tifa faces a minion of the darkness, of whom goes by Loz. Loz attempts to kill Tifa, but she blocks his attack. He creeps up in front of her and surprises her. Tifa gives the man a cold glare, but he only turns away. Tifa launches herself back into the wall where she lands. She looks down at Loz with disgust. Marlene rushes towards Tifa as she smiles at her daughter. Tifa leans down, but rushes back up. Tifa looks off into the distance to see that she didn't even come close to finishing off Loz. Tifa rushes towards Loz and releases a series of punches to his face. Tifa punches him to where his is a couple of feet away. Marlene rushes past Tifa, but Tifa grabs Marlene and pulls her back. Loz approaches Tifa and Marlene, but Tifa does not drop her guard. Tifa pulls out her gloves and puts them on her hands. She clenches her fists and glares at Loz. Tifa pulls herself back to the wall and jumps towards Loz, taking him down. Tifa throws Loz and stands gracefully, thinking that she had finally defeated Loz. But she thought too soon.
People started to panic and run away from the source of darkness gathering outside. The source was getting stronger.
Tifa looks at her opponent, becoming warn down from the never ending battle. She guards her child as he walks towards her.
Tifa looks through the crowd looking for Denzel. "Where could he be?" Suddenly, Tifa spots Denzel and runs towards him.
Loz shoots Tifa with his weapon and makes her fall to the ground. Loz walks over to the wounded girl and pulls her up to him. Loz aims his weapon at Tifa and hits her again with it. Loz gets up, dropping Tifa harshly on the ground and walks over to Marlene. Tifa struggles to get up, as Marlene faces her death. Tifa yells to Marlene to run, but Marlene is frozen as her killer approaches her. The last thing Tifa heard, was a clicking sound. Tifa screamed, but then silenced as she felt the hand of darkness touch her.
She shakes him, trying to get him out of the trance that the darkness had put him in. But Denzel only looked at Tifa. His eyes black. Tifa gasps, seeing that her world is forever gone. The land of darkness had enslaved the world, and everyone she knew is no more. Tifa turns around angrily and runs towards the beast flying towards her. The giant beast lands and Tifa loses her balance, retreating backwards. Tifa holds Denzel close to her as the beast approached them.
As Loz left the church carrying the remains of Tifa's daughter, he set the church on fire and left Tifa to die. Tifa tried to get up, but could not. The church burnt to the ground.
Tifa gasps, as she opens her eyes, and finds herself on the bedroom floor. "It was just… a nightmare."
