Sleeping Beauty 2:

Uchiha Sasuke held his wife's hand as he tried his best to fight the tears. He silently watched his eight-year-old daughter and his six-year-old son talking happily to her as if she was still awake with a sad smile.

"Ne papa!" The girl called with a toothy smile, "Why don't you talk to mama?"

He blinked at his daughter's request, "Talk…to her?" He softly asked, "But…Sayo dear, even if I try to talk to her I-I don't think she'll respond to me"

"Please papa?" His son Hiroki said, "You'll never know"

He smiled at them and patted their heads.

"So…will you?"

He hesitated, "….sure"

"Yay!"

He sighed softly as he faced his wife's sleeping form, "How…H-how do I start?" He mumbled softly to himself, "W-well, My name is Uchiha Sasuke. I'm...I'm your husband"

She didn't say anything.

This is stupid, He thought to himself. But when he felt a tug on his sleeve and came face-to-face with his children's smiling faces to urge to go on then turned his face back to his wife's beautiful sleeping form, those thoughts immediately went out the door.

He sighed once more, "It's kind of hard to believe, right? The thought of me, the emotionless bastard, being your husband. I don't even know why in the hell you actually chose me. Until now, I still don't think I deserve someone like you."

"That's not true," Sayo whispered beside him.

"We got into stupid fights a lot…but we were still happy" He took a deep breath as he squeezed her hand, "7 months ago, you got into a horrible accident. A car accident and…and now…you're in a coma"

He couldn't take it anymore. He couldn't stop his tears from falling. He trembled, "I…I love you so much…"

"Papa…" Hiroki whispered, "You shouldn't cry…Mama doesn't like it when you're sad"

"Yeah papa" Sayo agreed as she climbed up on his lap and wiped away his tears with her soft dainty hands, "Don't be such a crybaby!"

He laughed softly and embraced her tightly then pulled his son up and wrapped his arms around them. They stayed like that for a few moments but the ringing of Sasuke's phone interrupted them. Sasuke dug into his pocket, pulled out his phone then flipped it open and pressed it against his ear.

"What do you want, dobe?"

"Where are you? The meeting started five minutes ago!"

"I'm at the hospital now"

"Hospital? W—oh…do you want me to explain?"

"Yeah sure. I'll be there in 20 minutes or so"

"Alright. Say hi to the brats for me"

"Whatever"

He closed his phone.

"Was that uncle Naruto?!" The two children excited squealed, "What did he say?!"

"I have a meeting"

Sayo and Hiroki groaned.

He brought them off his lap and stood up from his seat, "C'mon…let's go" He spared one last glance at his wife then began to walk out of the room when he was stopped by a sudden tug of his shirt.

"Wait! Papa!"

He looked at the two children questioningly, "What is it?"

Hiroki innocently tilted his head to the side just like what his mother used to do, "If mama is the princess and papa is the prince, shouldn't papa kiss mama so she'll wake up?"

Sasuke's eyes widened slightly. He remembered telling them a bedtime story when Hinata was still with them, about a sleeping princess and was awakened only by her one true love, her prince. He also remembered Hinata calling him her one and only prince.

Just then, the door opened and revealed a certain pink-haired doctor.

"Sasuke?" She called, "Your visit is almost over"

"Uh…sure" He muttered softly, "Umm…can you take the kids outside with you? I want to spend a few more moments with Hinata"

Sakura nodded and led the two children out of the room.

Sasuke bit his lip, A kiss, huh.

He stared at his beautiful wife, slowly walked towards her and cupped her face. As his face hovered above hers, he tried to look for any sign that his love, his only love might wake up from her slumber. He didn't. Trembling, he pressed his lips against cold ones and held her tighter than he ever had.

After a few moments, he reluctantly pulled away.

"Goodbye Hinata…"

He slowly began to walk away…

…only to be stopped by a pale hand, interlacing with his own.

So, it's kinda different, yeah. I also like the ending better :D
