Note: Because I'm just that sick of Jessie being a rose.
Dragon Dreams
Statuesque, impressive, creature of dreams:
You bring of terror screams.
You born of fire,
and a dream's strength to inspire.
You leave a wake of fear and tears; admiration and adoration.
You are the Dragon stalking my nights
And through our days I see the ways of the Dragon
In our failure and our flight.
There is Fire
in your belly, and curling on your head;
a Fire to inflame me;
a Fire to fill me with dread.
You have scales against the outside world,
Jewel-encrusted armour.
For Jessica to let innocence and what we perceive
Become the same, might never be more than rumour.
But no matter, that a Dragon will not love,
Thinks only to extend reaches to the stars above,
For the Dragon is a myth.
A legend, a wish of humanity.
And for me in particular, my
ultimate dream.
Dreams may be moulded;
in mine, there is no scream - no silence either.
Our names in each other's mouths
fill the atmosphere:
A charged and burning passion,
From a Boy dreaming of a Dragon.
