Eddie Countdown Corner: 2 Days!(:

This is my entry for Whywrite's contest! Happy Martin Luther King Day!

I don't own House of Anubis.

Jerome's P.O.V.

After I got home from school I dropped my book bag on my bed. Alfie was outside punching a tree or something and I was home all alone, except for Trudy and Victor. I was to lazy to change out of my uniform so I walked out of my room, and I was about to walk into the kitchen but I heard someone sniffling in the laundry room. I leaned back my body on my heels to slightly look through the crack to see who it was.

I walked in and questioned, "Amber?"

She was sitting on the washing machine all balled up, crying into her knees. She looked up once she heard me and I saw her eyes were blood shot red and puffy.

She asked, "What do you want Jerome? Are you going to make fun of me for matching up Fabina then they end up breaking up?"

I walked closer and hopped up on the drying machine. "Of course not, I'm not that much of a bastard."

I expected her to giggle but instead she rolled her eyes. I asked, "Why the long face?"

She answered, "I too hard on Alfie about this relationship thing. I mean it's not like we're going to be the next Brangelina."

"What would make you think that?"

"Alfie broke up with me. Well, not really since we were never even dating. He broke up with whatever we had."

"Alfie? Alfred Marmaduke Lewis? The guy that doesn't have enough muscle to kill a fly?" She nodded. I mumbled to myself, "I have got to give that kid more credit." Then turned back to her.

I asked, "So your just going to sit there? Crying? Not going to do a damn thing?" She nodded.

We sat there silent for a minute. Then I said, "You know that 'if you love someone, set them free thing?'"

"Yeah."

"It's crap." She giggled and I continued, "If you love someone, you'll do anything to get them back. You don't just sit on your lazy ass moping around. You have to do something or you'll just watch them waltz into someone else's arms. Trust me, I've been there."

She loosened up looking slightly more interested. "What did you do?"

"I let her slip away. Now she's happy with someone else. Don't be a dumb ass like me now get up, go outside and talk to Alfie! Or else next thing you know he could be with...Patricia!"

"Your using Patricia as you example?"

"Well Alfie and Nina is just plain gross."

She nodded in agreement. "True." We laughed.

She hopped off the washing machine and opened the door. She was about to walk out but turned around when her hand was on the doorknob.

"Jerome?"

I looked up and asked, "Yeah?"

"Go talk to Mara. It will save me a hell of a lot time trying to get Jara together."

I laughed as she walked out the door calling, "Alfie!"
