Summary: Nobody set the plane crash up; it was just an accident and Lex and Helen are the only ones who survived.
A/N: This is my first Smallville story; so please tell me if you're reading. I have two other stories that I'm writing and I don't want to waste my time on this one if nobody likes it.
Also this story will be in Helen's Pov unless I say otherwise.

Chapter 1
--------------------------------------------------------
- On the plane. Wedding night -
"Lex, please?" I moaned against his lips as he kissed me.
He shifted me slightly in his lap, and then pulled back. "Baby, I told you my dad's probably got cameras on..." He was interupted when a violent jerk sent us both crashing to the floor.
"What's going on?" I asked as we both attempted to get up.
My question was answered when the pilot and copilot came out of the cockpit arguing. "What's going on?" Lex asked helping me up off of the floor.
"One of our wings was damaged; by what I have no earthly idea, but there's no way we can fix it, and there's no where we can land. So our best chance is to jump."
I looked at Lex terrified and he whispered, "Don't worry baby, everything's going to be okay," as he kissed my forehead.
The pilot was looking through the emergency cabinet pulling out life jackets and other items. Lex grabbed one and helped me put it on, before putting on his own.
"My advice would be to go now." The pilot said pushing Lex and I toward the already open door.
"Whatever you do, don't let go of my hand." He said right before crushing his lips against mine. "I love you," he whispered.
"I love you too," I said softly, while tears fell from my eyes. Lex reached up and gently brushed them away with his thumb while taking my hand.
"Go, both of you, go now." The pilot said once again pushing us both further toward the door.
"Ready?" He asked squeezing my hand tighter as we looked down at the water that was coming closer and closer every second.
"Yeah," I whispered right before we jumped into the warmish water. I felt Lex's hand slip from mine, and I burst to the surface in panic.
"Lex, Lex" I screamed looking around in the blackness of the night.
"Lex!" I yelled once more right before I watched the plane crash no more than a hundred yards away from me. I then felt an arm go around my waist and start pulling me towards them.
"Come on we've got to get in the raft." Lex said as we swam toward a small inflatable raft. Lex climbed inside, and then pulled me up with him. I collasped against his chest and wrapped my arms around his waist while he kissed the top of my head.
"Where are the pilot and copilot?" I asked my voice muffled against his warm chest.
"I never saw them jump off." I gasped and started crying. I immediantly felt Lex's arms around me trying to calm me down.
"Why did this happen, why us?" I cried clutching onto him harder as he ran his hand through my wet hair.
"I don't know baby, but don't worry about it. I'm sure they'll send a rescue plane in the morning to look for us."
"You're right," I whispered right before I drifted off to sleep.
