Five years Ago

Kagome ran through the forest, unable to see clearly because of the tears that wield up in her eyes. She tripped over a tree root and lay where she had fallen, her tears dripping onto the soft soil.

How could inuyasha chose Kikyo over me? she thought to herself I loved him

More tears fell on the ground. Suddenly two hands were lifting her up and a kiss was placed on her forehead as the figure embraced her.

"Kagome," the person said in a soft voice, " I know that mutt-face hurt you with his decision, but you know," they said hugging her tighter.

"I'll never hurt you." kagome looked up at Kouga as tear ran down her cheek. Kouga wiped it away with a finger.

"Why don't you give me a chance Kagome?" Kouga asked.

Her eyes then met his as he looked at her hopefully, he did claim to love her and maybe....just maybe she could learn to love him.

"Alright Kouga" she said smiling slightly

He smiled at her then picked her and carried her back to his den bridal style.

Mbf- well that was short
