Finding Winn-Dixie

In the summer party Winn-Dixie was found, but what if he never was. Journey through Opal realizing Winn-Dixie has changed her, and this memory will scar her for life.

Prologue

I arise from my dream. I, Opal Buloni living in my dream home, with luxurious floors, with stone fencing, and a small couch on the balcony, and with Winn-Dixie together with me side by side. My head is pounding as I wake up, "Who am I anymore?" I put on, and open my locket, and look at the picture of my dog who disappeared two months ago.

I try to feel happy, but I feel empty inside without taking a walk in the secret garden without my best friend, Winn-Dixie, like we did every morning. My whole life has crashed down, my first friend is gone.
