"Are you sure?"

"Lets try again."

They kissed. It was soft and sweet and kind, but it was also empty. She felt nothing when he kissed her. What happened? Whenever he kissed her, touched her, she felt all girly and happy and a rush of different emotions. Now it's nothing.

He felt nothing when he kissed her, other than guilt. What happened to them? They were in love. He knew for a while know that he didn't love her anymore. He just didn't know how to tell her. He never wanted to hurt her, but he just couldn't keep pretending. In the end they both would be hurt.

"Anything," he asked.

"Nope. Nothing. What's wrong with us? We were so happy. We were in love. Can't we be in love again?"

"I don't know. Maybe it was my fault. With all my training, I think I may have neglected you, taken you for granted that you'd always be there waiting for me. You knew how hard it is for me to commit."

"That's no excuse. Though, it's not like I'm any better. I've taken you for granted too. I kept expecting you to always be there. I'm an independent person, but I need........I needed you. I know that you have to train, but what about me. I had things to do. Work to do, but you were always gone, or you were with your "friends". It was like I had no place with you unless you were coming for food and a nightcap. I was lonely."

"I know. So basically we both messed up. We took each other and our relationship for granted. Now what?"

"I'd still like to be friends with you. No matter what happens, I'd still like for you to be in my life."

"I'd like that very much."

He turned to leave. He was halfway out he door when she called to him."

"I still love you, you know. I'll always love you. Just not in the way that I used too."

"I know. I'll always love you too. I should go. I'll call you later. Ok?"

"Ok. Goodbye Yamucha."

"Goodbye Bulma."

This time he didn't turn back and the door shut behind him.

Ohhh. I love angst. I wanted to write a B/Y story where they didn't fight and curse each other out. Not that those aren't funny, I just wanted to do something different. So what do you all think? Good? Bad? Let me know. Yama_Neko ^_^
