Chapter 1: Sparks' Story

The more I think about it, the easier it is to forget why I'm here. Hey, my name is Sparks. I'm a Pikachu, and I work for… well, I can't tell you. Ok, fine, I'll tell you. I work for a secret organization called the P.O.I.R. It stands for Pokemon Organization of Information Retrieval. I know, long name, right? That's why we have acronyms. Anyway, I guess it all started the day I met Trey and Pidge. I remember it like it was yesterday. I was on my way back home from school when I saw a Pidgeotto and a Grovyle talking to each other.

Grovyle: Hey, I'm Trey. And you are?

Pidgeotto: Pidge. Nice to meet you.

Sparks: Hey, what are you guys talking about?

Trey: Actually, we just met. I'm Trey.

Pidge: And I'm Pidge. Wow, I'm seeing a lot of new people today.

Sparks: I'm Sparks. Nice to meet you guys. So, what's going on… with… oh, snap.

And there it was: Ho-Oh was flying overhead. I couldn't believe my eyes. So that's how Trey, Pidge, and I became best friends. But you should see the letter we all got the next day. I was at my school, on a forested hill in the middle of nowhere, when I was called down to the principal's office. I went down the yellow hallway with the Electric-Type classrooms in it and turned left at Grass-Type green hallway to reach Principal Alakazam's office in the lobby. I got a letter that read like this.

Dear Sparks,

We have been watching you for some time now. We have assessed your abilities and decided that you should join us for a brief interview. Meet me at 1337 Kyogre Drive.

Sincerely,

XXX

None of us knew who this XXX was, but we decided to go to that building anyway. We were greeted by a large toy store sort of place. But we fell through a trapdoor when we reached aisle 78, where the dolls and baby toys were. And just before the aisle with the toy lasers.
