Eleven-years-old Jimmy Neutron sat backinhis lab chair, pondering of ways to curb his boredom. It was Januray, raining, and almost completly dark outside. The sun was high up, almost invisible against the dark clouds and gray sky. Looking out the window, Jimmy wondered how time was able to fly so fast when your having fun...and so slow when you're not. He just wanted this day to end.

"Someone, kill me now." He began to walk towards the exit to inside until he paused. "Wait! Brain Blast! I could use the time machine to go straight to tomorow morning! Maybe I should invite Sheen and Carl, too...Maybe Cindy and Libby as well....." He lost himself in his train of thought, not noticing what he was doing with the time portal...

"Hey, Jimmy, can we go to the past for a litte bit? I want to talk to the creator of Ultralord!" Sheen burst out when Jimmy uncovered the time machine. "I think we would have fun...I mean, c'mon! It's Ultralord's creator! The most brilliant man-" He was thrown a dirty look from Jimmy midsentence. "MAN-not boy, ever that we are talking about!"

"Nuh-uh! Sheen, we are NOT goin' to go see some guy who created Ultralord! We are going to go see the upcoming Boys Pretending to Be Men concert, right Jimmy?" Libby looked at Jimmy, eyes huge and eyeashes batting. He backed away as Libby began to stalk towards him.

"Uh-no, Libby. We are going to tommorow, to get this day done and over with." Libby and Sheen looked crestfallen. "*Sigh* Unless you want to do something else." Hopeful smiles filled the room again. "But, we do a majority vote."

So they did. And, guess what? They're going to tomorrow. Jimmy asked Carl nto set the date as everyone got ready. The group went into the portal, not noticing the date was set to July 17th, 2008...

Into the future!!!

It was swirly. 5 preteens spun around in an anti-gravity vortex, leading into "the next day." All was silent. Except for two familiar voices, filling the air.

"Neutron! I thought it was going to be quick!

"Well, I never said that! You don't really think time travel is just quick and painless, do you?!"

'Well, maybe I did! After all, I have never done time travel before! Not everyone an just skip to the next day of their-WOAH!" They began to fall through a black, dark hole...slowly...

...And ended up on hard concrete with a thunk. The sun was shining brightly, clearly showing it was the middle of the day. The sky was a perfect lear blue, not a loud in sight. Teenagers walked along, chatting about clothes and whatnot. Cats sauntered along the streets, birds flew, and music blasted from a red hot convertible on the street. Jimmy realized this wasn't where they intended to be, though it was the right city.

Lost in his thoughts, Jimmy didn't see that the convertible had stopped, revealing the passengers.

"Hey-are you kids okay? It'snot safe to be out in the open like this on a summer day. It's pretty hot." A tall-ish blonde shadowed over them. The girl was wearing a white halter top and bright red shorts, revealing lightly tanned legs. Her hair was a medium length blonde, straight and pulled in a loose ponytail. The girl moved her hair out of her eyes, showing gorgeous, limpid green eyes...
