Hi, I'm Mike and I'm your average typical teenage boy. I go to school, I get yelled at by my Father, I watch TV, I love comics and in my spare time I fight off deranged, parasitic slugs that take over your mind, talk to a blue centaur-like creature beneath my bed, and turn into any animal I touch on a whim.

See? Your average, typical teenage boy… sound nuts yet? Just wait, it gets worst. How could it get any worse? Well for starters, the blue creature talks back, without a mouth.

Me and my friends are forced into a war where anyone, from that random guy on the other side of town to your own family, could be against you without you even knowing.

The worst part though, is the blue guy on the deranged side. Trust me, that guy is one guy you just don't want to meet. He's like us. Kind of. Okay, not so much. He can morph, only he turns into creatures as big as houses and some even bigger than that. Add his deranged, anger issues and you're looking at one heck of a problem.

Now, you must be wondering why we're doing this, saying we're idiots, fools with a death wish or just plain retarded. The correct answer is… all the above. But it also more than that.

Me and my friends are the only people who have the power to stop them, or at least throw a monkey wrench into the machinery. It's the right thing to do and Earth's only hope. With no one else able to play hero, it's our responsibility to fight. This is our world, our home and no one or thing will take that away from us.

Today I fight! Who needs common-sense?

AN: This is just a one shot that connects with my Today We Fight crossover story you can find in animorphs/Kickin it. As the date somewhat suggest that is when the first chapter will be up. At the moment there's only a prologue that's similar to this just in a different character pov.

Mike will be one of the mayor characters in the story, acting as the spy/strategist of the team and usually keeping the group focus.

Next one shot will be up on the 16th which will be in Wizards of Waverly Place/animorphs.
