Twilight Heaven
Curled up in my bed,
I stare at them all.
The best objects in existence.
Twilight, New Moon, Eclipse, Breaking Dawn
Slowly I select the first one.
I flip open the book,
And start to read-
My mind leaves reality,
As I enter the world of Twilight.
Bella,
The devoted, loving girl.
Alice,
What will she "see" next?
Edward's sweet, velvet voice,
I can hear it in my ear.
My racing thoughts start to calm down,
Jasper must be near.
Rosalie and Emmett,
Always together,
And Jacob with his care-free smile,
Always gives me a cheer!
My emotions run wildly,
I am unable to control them.
First, I am happy,
Then sad, mad, annoyed, excited.
For how can you not be,
In a world full of vampires, werewolves and more?
As I turn page after page,
I discover more and more.
I glance up at the clock
It is already ten!
I must stop, I tell myself!
I can't, I say back!
My book side wins,
I continue reading.
I feel the pages I have read get heavier,
Until I have one page left.
Yes!
James has been defeated,
The Cullen's live on!
I sigh as I put down the book,
And gradually reach for another.
The process starts again,
With New Moon.
