Hey, my fellow, faithful readers... hehe... I know, I know. I haven't updated in nearly a year. So much has happened. I mean, I have to play girlfriend to my very sexy boyfriend. ;;; LOL! Yup, so sue me, I'm in love. Now the love of my life and I have both resumed our lives after a year long honeymoon romance and we've just celebrated a year of happiness. Now we've come to terms with the fact we're a couple. So please be happy with me. I return to you with a wonderful new DBZ, fic. A Bulma/Vegeta fic of course! This is one of my favorite stories, and I'm converting it into a BV fic, with some of my own material. So sit back and enjoy this! It won't be your regular BV fic.

BTW this is OOC and an AU fic. You'll see what I mean.

Disclaimer: MAN! I haven't done THIS in awhile! Ok. I don't own DBZ, or if I did, I'd be some old Japanese guy with a lot of money and a lot of chicks sitting around him by a swimming pool. LOL! The only thing I own is this story and of course my boyfriend. . (And Vegeta of course, but he lives in my closet.)

Engagement of Sorts
Prologue
By: Kasumi Yawa

Once upon a time, a young woman named Bulma, also known as Beautiful, Buttercup and Sunny, was engaged to a gentleman, whom for the sake of his family's reputation we shall refer to only as Y. She was a very beautiful woman, filled with wisdom beyond her years. With a sharp tongue and fiery temper, she was independent and looked forward to her adventures. Adventures society would not agree were suited for a young lady of her status to partake in. She had long, gorgeous blue locks, that were free and wild like her spirit and sparkling teal eyes, that sparked with mischief and an ache for new things.

Bulma's father, the famous Dr. Briefs, had introduced her to Y., a junior partner in his prestigious Capsule Corporation, with the hope that it would lead to an engagement. Which it did. Our story should end right here but unfortunately, Bulma–a head-strong young woman–released the hapless Y. From his pledge after a rather long and tedious evening of dominoes.

When confronted by her father, Bulma exclaimed that Y. was as "dull as dishwater." Her father responded saying that not only had Bulma never been close enough to dishwater to tell whether it was indeed dull or not, but it was exactly the same comment she had made about the last five junior partners he had brought home. The corporation, he continued, was running out of suitable junior partners.

Since she was not interested in leaving his home as a properly married young woman, she would have to leave on her own, thereby giving her younger cousins a chance at matrimony.

But because she was and always would be his daughter, he would continue to provide her with a generous monthly stipend.

And so begins the adventures of heroine...

Note: Although this serial is purported to be fiction, it is widely believed that the adventures of Bulma were more than loosely based on the life of a cosmopolite, well-known for her shocking behavior, outrageous escapades and frivolous antics.

Well that's it for the first part. You'll see more of Vegeta soon enough. Now review! I mean it! You know my deal. I need at least 10 to continue. If I don't get a good response, I won't continue at all... So please be nice and leave a review! Goodnight!!!
