So this is my first official story, it needs a lot of editing still but I figured I would put it up for reviews before I add more on. Read and review please:]

Chapter 1- Night

I ran my pale finger down his scarred arm, the moonlight reflected off the many crescent imprints. I knew he was scared with Bella around, and the fact that we hadn't hunt for a few weeks didn't help. I tried to keep my mood positive, and my visions told me that Jasper would be all right. He just needed some encouraging and a while to adjust to this life.

We stood in his room, looking out the giant glass window, wrapped around each other tightly. It had to be about 4am, from where the moon was placed in the dark sky, I could tell. Jasper and I starred out the window in silence, although I don't have the ability to read minds, I could tell what he was thinking.

"Alice, I don't know how long I can do this", he admitted. He pulled his black eyes to my face, which I turned my head to look at him. "You don't have to worry, love. Bella is safe, trust me." Jasper looked at me for a long moment and shook his head. " I'm not talking about Bella. I meant that I don't know how much longer I can go without human blood."

This took me by surprise, and I was never surprised. "What are you saying? That you want to kill a human?" He signed and turned his neck back to stare out the glass again. "It's not that I want to, but it's still hard. Running on humans for so long and then just changing my diet to please Carlisle." I touched my hand to his face. "You're not just doing this for Carlisle. You're doing it for me too." I replied.

Jasper signed again, "I know. And I love you; you know I would do anything to please you. Would you believe me if I said I'm trying?" his beautiful voice sounded stressed. I told him, "Of course I believe you. I love you." Once more he turned his head to me and leaned down for a kiss.
