"Ok, Chloe, you can do this," Chloe told herself as she set her book bag down and took a seat behind her computer in the Torch office.
She took a deep breath as she opened her Fireworks program and pulled up the pictures of Clark and her from a few months ago.
"It was so close to being perfect!" Chloe sighed, remembering that Pete told her it was ok to be upset. And she knew she was.
Chloe grinned and shook her head as she examined the pictures on her desktop.
I was wondering if you wanted to go to the dance with me.as my date.
She sighed, clicking her mouse on 'File' and then 'Delete' on the dropdown menu.
Are you sure you want to delete?
"I'm sure I want too forget everything that happened that night." Chloe told no one, running her mouse over the mouse pad.
It'll be a night you'll never forget.
"I'll never forget it." Chloe said as she deleted the picture and a single tear rolled down her face.
Use this one, Chloe.
"Lovelorn, how appropriate." Chloe said, remembering the lipstick Lana had lent her the day before the dance.
I'm going to the dance with you, not by default, but because I want to.
"Liar!" Chloe said pitifully. "God, listen to me." Chloe chastised herself.
Chloe stared at her now-blank computer screen, clearly lovelorn.
