The One I Remember
Okay, I know that at the end of the Digimon 02 series, Yamato marries Sora. And because I don't drool over Taito as much as you other fans do, I decided to make this a kind of tame fanfic. This is a story where Yamato reflects on him and Taichi's relationship in the past. My first romance fic (about time I wrote one considering I read a thousand of 'em).
Yamato, Taichi, Digimon, etc etc blah blah is © Fox Kids, Saban, Toei, etc

I lay here in bed in my house in Odaiba, coming home from a hard day of work as an astronaut. I rolled over on my stomach and ran my hand through my hair lazily. Glancing over to the side, I saw my framed picture of him. The picture of the one I loved and cared for in our youthful years. He was Taichi Yagami.
I will always remember his perfectly framed face and his dark brown eyes, always watching over me with loving worry that always flattered me. He had that little bit of hair streaming down between his eyes, above them were his tightly-wrapped goggles that always fit on his head. Taichi's long, spikey hair that seemed to reach to the heavens always whirred in my mind as I thought of his long, athletic built legs and arms, his blue shirt draping down to the button of his knee length shorts. He would always wrap his arms around my waist when I was off-guard and I would tickle him. Taichi would laugh that humorous, goofy laugh and closed his eyes as they began to water. I would always laugh along, for we seemed to share a bond of emotion. He would then cuddle against me for a while, his head resting softly against my chest as I held him. He would look up and always compliment my soft, blue eyes and my sexy hair. I would simply laugh at his childishness and so would he. Taichi would then let me play with his brown, silky hair. Oh, how I longed to feel his beautiful hair again. The touch would tingle down my fingers and trigger a sense of passion in my mind. After that he would kiss me on the cheek and I would turn a crimson red, which he always playfully punched me in the shoulder for doing.
"What was that for?!" I would exclaim jokingly.
"For caring so much," he would respond lovingly, and he would always give me a warm, dedicated smile that we would always be together. It seemed as if he would never leave me. I wouldn't have never let him go.
But our love couldn't last. We were just hanging onto our relationship on a small rope, and slowly it began to break. We sadly began to grow apart, our feelings changing, for our bodies were always growing. I then began to date Sora, for she was the only one who could remind me of my Taichi in the feminine way. She had a charisma in her that drew me to her and caught me by surprise in my teenage years. Taichi also got a girlfriend and married, and me and Sora also finally tied the knot.
I then became interested in the depths of space and became what I am today, an astronaut. Taichi also got a job and so did the other digidestined.
Sora then walked into our bedroom, leaning on the frame with a warm smile on her face. I returned the same smirk and rose from the bed and embraced her, nuzzling her hair. I loved my Sora truly. But I shall never forget my Taichi Yagami.
