a/n: I love studying for midterms

"Elliot Stabler, what have you done to me?" Liv asked as she looked in on the nursery, shaking her head, "mother to your six children, how did this happen?"

"I believe you were a more than willing participant there," he joked, and she smacked him in the arm.

"Smartass."

"Woman, I'm going to have a bruise!"

"Don't you woman me," she said smiling.

"I can't call my woman woman?" he asked, moving in for a kiss, his hands on her large tummy.

"mm…seriously, as much as I love you, this is the last one," Liv informed him. Elliot pouted, making her laugh. "I'm serious! No more kids after this one."

Just then a blur sped by, and then the voice of his older brother Rich (nee Dickie) trailed after, yelling something unintelligible.

"Benjamin Alexander Stabler, get your butt in here." Elliot said. A little angel appeared in the doorway, his big eyes shining up through his mop of curly brown hair.

"What is it, Daddy?" the four year old asked, his usually clear voice a little slurred.

"Give it to me," he told his son. His tone relayed his seriousness; there would be no joking around this time. Benjy sighed and pulled a little man out of his mouth, covered in spit.

"You know what you need to do, honey?" Olivia asked her son while her husband was at a loss for words, "you need to wash that off and give it back to your brother, and apologize." Benjy pouted. They could hear Rich banging up the stairs, "hurry, kiddo," she urged, as Benjy's eyes bulged and he ran to the bathroom.

"Get out here, Squirt," Rich's voiced boomed, "where are you?"

"Here, Rich," Benjy stood in the hall, holding out the little playing piece, "I'm sorry."

"Sure you are," Rich laughed, but then he caught Olivia's eye, "I mean, thanks buddy. Hey, why's he wet?" he asked as they headed back downstairs.

"He fell in the sink,"

"What- never mind."

Liv and Elliot watched them head back downstairs together. Liv smiled,

"We're lucky they get along so well, despite the age difference."

"Yeah, things have worked out pretty well. Let's see what happens when we add one more." They snuggled some more, until a thought occurred to Liv,

"I just hope the paint on that playing piece was non-toxic."

"Oh, good point. Rich?"

The End :)
