I'm sorry. It had to be. I saved the world with you. Now I'm going back to the human world. I'm sorry. I has to be. I always loved you. Yep. I'm so, so sorry. I loved being on a rescue team with you. I loved the look the rescued Pokemon gave us. It was always filled with joy and gratitude that they'd survived and they'd be able to be with there loved ones once more. If they could be with THEIR loved ones, why couldn't we be together forever. But I'm going to have to be a human now. Gardevior told me about it. She says that my human self is gonna turn ten soon, so I can become a Trainer. What ever that is. Gardevior said a Trainer is someone who goes around capturing Pokemon with weird balls, then enslaving them and making them battle. I'm not so sure I want to be human if they do that.

Remember that time we rescued that baby Rilou? How it couldn't pronounce your name so we had to go through the whole 'His mother used speak French, so she called him Protéger, which means Protect' thing. And then I put my paw on your shoulder and smuggled up to you. I said "And it worked! He's protected me just fine!" And you went bright red. That was funny.

I'm so sorry Protéger. I love you. I really do. I didn't want to leave. All I can do is leave you this letter. And hope you'd forgive me.
