In a dark apartment lived a magikarp named Phil. He had a owner who was very abusive to him since he was a magikarp and all magikarps can use are splash and tackle. One day they were training and phil's owner gave up on him. That day Phil was brutally beaten by a riachu, called a stupid little wimp by his owner, and thrown back into the sea. The owner ignored Phil and his sobbing eyes and put Phil into a deep depression that soon became a determination to get stronger and evolve into a gyrados.

Within three days he had swam enough to learn tackle. He then started battling until he was near to fainting each and every day, He could tell he was getting stronger and decided to face a tentacruel. Then tentacruel glared at Phil and tried to harm him in any way possible. He tried using poison sting, toxic, sludge bomb, and even bind but Phil's speed was no match for tentacruel's attacks. Phil just dashed in to use tackle, ran back, and did it all over again. His plan was to do it until tentacruel fainted. It took a while, but when the battle was over, the victor was Phil. Then, right as Phil left he evolved into a gyrados. "Wow!" he shouted with joy, "I'm I'm a gyrados!" He swam around for hours and hours in his new form until he just fell asleep. Now, it was time to find his trainer.

When he woke up the next morning he set out to the dock. He searched the dock and he searched but found his old owner to be nowhere near. " That's okay." Phil thought to himself. He'd wait for him to show up. All his training had raised his patience to its maximum. After about two hours he showed up with the same riachu that had beaten Phil all those days ago. Phil was enraged by this and darted into the air, challenging him to a battle. His old owner, Trace, had no idea of what to do but accept so he gave in. Trace commanded his riachu to use thunderbolt to try and finish it in one move, but Phil's speed hadn't lowered just because he had evolved, in fact he had become faster, faster than a thunderbolt. He dodged the thunderbolt with amazing speed and some how fired a hydro pup even faster and with supreme accuracy. Although riachu is an electric type who isn't effected to much by water type moves it had taken a whole lot of damage. Then, before riachu could even make a move it was hit in the face by the strongest dragon rage ever seen. Finally, with one last and final move Phil used ice fang which not only beat riachu but also got him revenge on trace by breaking the dock and making him swim back to shore. Gyrados then fled into the sunset and back into the ocean to live happily ever after. Or at least that's what he thought.
