''He started it!'' Shawn whispers harshly. ''You shut your trap!'' Emmalynne whispers harshly.

What had started as some weird mix between whispering and bickering was escalating quickly between the 33 and 18 year old siblings caught Juliet's attention.

The blonde detective knew that if she didn't intervene, the Spencer siblings would've gotten kicked out of their favorite coffee shop.

''I'll call you back, Declan.'' Juliet says before hanging up and walks over to where Shawn, Emmalynne and the barista who was flirting with Emmalynne. The petite brunette saw it as harmless but Shawn was being overprotective.

''Simmer down, you two! What's wrong this time?'' Juliet says. The usually joined at the hip siblings had been bickering a lot lately.

''I'm an adult, Shawn! I can flirt with cute guys without you getting worked up!'' Emmalynne shouts.

''You're a child, Emmy! Dressed as a hooker!'' Shawn yells, startling Emmalynne. Before either one of them could react, Juliet slapped Shawn! Hard!

''Pineapples!'' Shawn cried out, holding the left side of his face. Juliet shook her hand to try and get rid of the pain.

Emmalynne started to hold her breath to the point where her lips were turning blue, scaring both her brother and Juliet.

''Emmy, breathe! Breathe, damn it!'' Shawn says frantically. Cute little snickers came out of Emmalynne's mouth and they turned into full blown laughter to the point where she was doubled over and clutching the counter for support.

She laughed for five minutes straight before stopping and straightening up, her heart shaped face and cute little button nose a healthy shade of pink.

''You okay now, Emmy?'' Shawn says, putting his hands on her slender shoulders as she nods, too out of breath to talk.

The three of them sit down after paying and getting their drinks, Juliet drinking regular coffee with cream and sugar while Shawn drank a mocha iced coffee and Emmalynne sipped her double shot iced espresso, the two women laughing at Shawn's story about how Gus got his arm stuck in the banister when he was 8 and behaving like they usually do.

''Bicker first, drink good coffee and laugh after.'' Emmalynne thought, smiling as she feels herself calming down for the first time in days.
