Out of the Shadows
All he could recall was the searing pain shooting through his body as the Tesseract slowly sucked him into space, but after that nothing, the lack of oxygen in space caused him to blackout. Johann woke to the sound of yelling. He opened his eyes and slowly got up. The room was dark, as his eyes adjusted to the darkness, he heard a deep voice on the other side of the wall.
" Sir put down the scepter," the voice said.
After a few seconds Johann heard a loud crash on the other side of the wall. He decided it was time to move. As he opened the door to the closet he found himself in, he carefully looked around. There was no one in the hallway yet he could hear the sounds of distant yelling. As he walked around in the hallway he could hear gunshots, as three people walked past the hallway. One was wearing a blue plaid shirt who appeared to be in his fifties. One of the other men who walked by had a short cropped blonde hair carrying a bow and a quiver of arrows on his back. Johann drew his gun, prepared to shoot if anyone saw him, just then the last man walked by but something was different about him. He wore a long black and green coat with touches of gold. He had long flowing black hair and blue eyes, he turned and looked at Johann. He raised his gun at the man as the man raised his spear. They stared at each other, then the man turned around and silently muttered,
"clever peasant".
Johann muttered something in German as his eyes followed the uniquely dressed arrogant man. He kept his gun raised as he walked around the building, he saw people run by not even noticing him, this slightly surprised him since he wasn't wearing his mask. As Johann rounded the corner he ran into a man. He raised his gun at the man, as the man raised his hands up in the air.
"Herr Schmidt wait I am Hydra", the agent said shakily.
"What year is it", Johann asked.
"It's 2012 Herr Schmidt , Hydra has gone under the radar through S.H.I.E.L.D waiting for our chance to come out of the shadows".
"S.H.I.E.L.D", Johann asked raising his brow or well what brow he had left.
"It stands for Strategic Homeland Intervention, Enforcement and Logistics Division," the agent answered.
" Sir we need to go, this building is about to collapse", the agent said.
Johann nodded in reply and quickly followed the man. He looked at the new technology he saw in satisfaction. Anyone who saw him was quickly shot. Soon enough Johann and the Hydra agent reached a car and quickly drove off into the night.
Author's note: I apologize for marking this as a crossover when its just Marvel, but the Marvel character list had such a limited choice of characters, I didn't really have much of a choice but to mark it as an crossover. Regarding OCs I don't plan on making the OCs have a major role just as Hydra agents but that may change. Anyway please review and tell me what you think.
