I would love to blame the plot bunnies. Now I understand what the authors meant by evil plot bunnies. *sweatdrop*

ANYWAYS! I've read a few stories about Tsuna going to a different world or time travel and he sometimes has twins who is either evil or not. And I've been wanting to write this type of story for a while and this plot just decided to invade in my head. And I even dreamt it one time...

Basically, this is a prologue-ish. So, yeah...

Oh, and before I forget... *blush* ...I kind of want to write Yaoi. x3

Which speaking of, do you readers wanted to have a vote of Tsuna's pairing?

Prologue

"It's sad, isn't it?" a young man said as he laid on the green grass and tipped his head back. He got attention from his friends and family.

Thunder heard from the distance as the grey clouds covered the sky and sun. The winds picked up the strays of fallen leaves from the branches and dances through the air. In the area, there's a large group of people wearing black and holding the black umbrella. They are gathered at this location to bring their respect and mourn.

He closed his eyes, "We come to love and protect something that only death can touch."

The people stared at the black coffin with a sign and symbol engraved on the lid. The priest is holding a bible in hands as he speaks to the audiences. However; to very few people are too blank and emotionless to hear anything except silent. The only thing they can focus on is the coffin; laying there, mocking them and their lives.

"Who would've thought that being a memory would be so…treasured." A small smile appeared on his face.

After the priest finished his prayed. One by one, the people took their turn to place the black rose on the coffin's lid. Before they knew, the coffin is covered with black roses. Then, a beautiful young woman who has purple shoulder-length hair, sad violet eye and a black eyepatch on her right eye, pale skin, and wears a simple black dress and black flat. She walked to the coffin and put a white rose with a lavender ribbon on top of the black roses.

A soft breeze came through his hair as it ruffled a few times, "Did you know that death leaves a heartache that can never be healed?"

The woman walked back to her small group as a tall man stepped up. He has white short hair, sad brown eyes, tan skin, and he wears a black suit and black dress shoes. He placed a white rose with a yellow ribbon on the black roses; next to the white rose. He bowed deeply as his fists tighten until his knuckles are white and shaking. Then he leaned back up and walked back to his little group.

"Fortunately, we still have a memory that can never be stolen, right?" his smile grown big.

A young man who is barely an adult walked up to the coffin. He has black unruly hair, green eyes, fair skin, and wears simple black suits and black sneaker. He glanced at the white rose with green ribbon in his hand. He gently threw on top of the black roses almost lazily and he closed his eyes.

"And the best part is that there is one thing that can never fade away… do you know what that is?" he asked them, waiting for the answer.

After the young adult walked back to his spot, another man walked to the coffin. He is a tall man who has short black hair, dark brown eyes, tan skin, wears a black suit and black dress shoes. He bends his knee and placed a white rose with a blue ribbon next to the pure rose on the sea of black roses. He frowned in sorrow at the coffin.

He hummed as he opens his eyes half-way and lifted his index finger above him, "…the Sky." He answered for them.

A man steps up after the other man walked back to his spot. He is a handsome man who has black hair, grey eyes, fair skin, and wears a black collar long sleeve shirt, black jeans, and black shoes. He lifted a white rose with a purple ribbon while stared at the coffin. His eyes narrowed at it then threw the rose on top of the black roses and shoved his hands into his pockets.

He dropped his hand onto his chest while his other arm rested behind his head, "No matter what, the Sky will always watch over us. The Sky is very special, not because of the Harmony…"

A man walked up to the coffin, he has blue waist-length hair that tied in low pony-tail, mismatched eyes of red and blue, fair skin, and he wears a black shirt with a black trench coat that reaches his knees, black jeans tucked into black combat boots and wears black leather gloves. He glanced at the white rose with indigo ribbon and gently pecked the petal. Then he placed the pure rose with other white roses.

"The Sky is one." Amusement appeared in his eyes, "We all share the same Sky, one Sky. It's kind of less lonely when you think about that way."

Lastly, a miserable man who has silver hair, dry red puffy eyes from tears, pale skin, and he wears a black business suit and black dress shoes. He is clenching on a white rose with red ribbon. His body is shaking and his teeth gritted in furious, disappointment, and sadness. He opened his mouth but no sound came out so he shut his jaw. His eyes watery once again as he bends on his knees front of the coffin while holding tight on the rose.

"This life we're having… I know that it's dark, harsh, and scary. But…" he glanced at his friends and family who are very intently listening to him.

Two men walked to the crying man and helped him. They lend a hand to pulled him up on his feet and released the half bend white rose with red ribbon. The silver-hair man watched the rose toss gently onto the sea of black roses. Two men gently yet strongly pulled the silver-hair man back to the little group silently while the audiences were watching quietly.

He sat up and tilted his head, "No matter what, in the end… we all should smile and laugh." His lips quirked up as he turned his head so he can face them, "Because…" he paused slightly.

The black coffin slowly lowered down into the ground. Two grave keepers almost immediately went to cover the hole with dirt after the people left the funeral. A small group of people watched them buried their dead dear friend, their boss, and wonderful Sky.

"…it's possible that it could be our last memory. So, let's smile no matter what, ne?" he smiles warmly as his brown eyes shifted to sunset-colors that shines brightly.

The graveyard is almost empty as the thunder heard from the distance once again. The grey cloud rolled into the almost black cloud and thunder came once again. The sounds of pitter and patter came down until it started becoming downpouring. The little group got their umbrella prepared from the rain, except two men stared at the gravestone, soaked in bones without care. One of the fancy tombstones has engraved words and symbols of the Vongola Famiglia.

Rest In Peace

Vongola Decimo Tsunayoshi

A wonderful friend, thoughtful brother, & lovely son

A Selfless Sky

Year of XXXX-XXXX

The moonlight shines upon the graveyard after the grey clouds floated away. A man who wears a black suit with an orange tie, black dress shoes, a black fedora with an orange band and a small green chameleon hanging onto his shoulder.

The man stopped in front of the grave and stared at the name. He clicked his tongue sympathetically as he bends down and gently touch the tombstone. "Idiota inutili-Tsuna… what kind of Guardians would they be without their cielo." The man whispered softly in slightly raging yet regret. "You haven't got a chance to experience amore and have your very own bambini. Instead, you fought and protected your precious Famiglia just as any Mafia Boss would do…" he sighed and grabbed his fedora and lowered to cover his eyes, "Idiota Tsuna… you left too soon." A drop of moisture shines slightly by the moonlight slid down on his cheek, clung on his jaw, then fell onto the wet fresh dirt.

Another and another.

Left on the wet dirt that leaves no evidence would prove a certain man has shed his tears.

"Tsuna?"

Eyes slowly opened and blinked a few times to get rid of the blurred. He is in the bright blue sky and front of him; is his great-great-great-great-grandfather, the Vongola Primo, Giotto. The blonde-hair man smiles warmly at Tsuna. "Tsuna, can you hear me?"

Tsuna blinked once again and nodded his head. He glanced at his surroundings, he is alone with Primo which he finds it odd. "Where am I?" Tsuna asked Giotto with curious.

"A place between the living and death." Giotto simply explained and Tsuna furrowed his eyebrows with confusion. "It's strange, that you landed in this dimension." He said with a sad smile.

"I don't understand." Tsuna frowned deeply.

Giotto tilted his head, "Tsuna, do you know why you are here?" he asked.

"Of course. I died, protected my family." Tsuna answered as he knew that he was killed by sacrificed himself for his Famiglia.

Primo smiles softly at his descendant, he saw the entire thing. He watched Tsuna fought bravely and sacrificed himself for his family. He is one pure selfless Sky and a rare one at that. Unfortunately, Tsuna died at the age of twenty-three. So young that he never got experiences to have love, children, and more. It was too late for his descendant that he grew so fond of as a son.

Which brings him with a decision, "Tsuna… I'm sorry." Tsuna raised his eyebrow with perplexed, "Because of me, your life gotten burden with my blood and sins. I know that you refused to be a Mafia Boss, refused to be part of the underground world. I am sorry that I caused you so much pain." Giotto apologized as his eyes sadden.

Tsuna stared at Primo then he half-smile at him, "I…truly hate the Mafia… and Vongola." Giotto slumped his shoulders as ashamed expressed on his face, "…but if it wasn't for you, I wouldn't have my amazing and peculiar family and friends. I never thought that my enemies would become my allies and friends. My Guardians are bizarre but they are perfect for me and be part of my life as Mafioso style." He chuckled softly, "So in the end, you don't have to apologize… I forgive you a long time ago."

Giotto's eyes widen in shocked when Tsuna smiles warmly at him. He felt warm and love from the pure Sky Flamer. The Primo smiles and shook his head, 'He is truly one selfless Sky…' he mused and he wanted to do right this time, for his descendant.

"Let me give you a chance, Tsuna." He blurted out that caused Tsuna stared at him wondering. "A chance to live a second life."

Tsuna gapped at Primo. "Heei?" he let out a confused squeak and thank that Reborn is not here to hit him with a mallet.

Giotto's eyes gleam with serious, "I know that you can't replace them but… this time, you will have a chance to be able to live your life and live longer than your first. I'll make sure of it." He frowned, "However, I know of one parallel world that you could replace parallel-Tsuna… and that world isn't exactly…light." He grimaced.

"What do you mean?" Tsuna tilted his head in slightly interested.

"…the parallel of you got taken and put into the Vindice and trapped in a water tank." Tsuna blinked in surprise, "I believe it's nearly been nine years. If I remember correctly, he was five years old and has activated his flame at that time." Giotto explained as he attempted to remember in that particular world.

Tsuna furrowed his eyebrows in disbelieve, "The Vindice took a five years old kid into a water tank?! For nine fucking years?! Why?!" he flabbergasted at this information.

"Because it was an accident." Giotto sighed sympathy, "When he activated his flame, he accidentally harms his twin brother and gave him third-degree burns on his entire left arm." Tsuna flinched as Primo continued, "Their father saw the entire thing, he was furious and decided that Tsuna take his punishment and keep the other twin safe." Giotto said and left his descendant concluded the thoughts to himself without any deeper explanation.

Tsuna scowled when he realized this short story, "Are you telling me that fucking idiota blondie man took his very own flesh and blood son to the Vindice as a punishment?!" he fumed in anger. Giotto nodded his head silently and Tsuna nearly wanted to unleash his fury flame but remain calm. "I see… so this twin… does he know?" he asked with slightly curious and pity and anger.

"He doesn't remember having any twin. His father and Nono erased the memories of Tsuna. Even the mother's memories of Tsuna was erased as well." Giotto explained in displeasure. He dislikes anyone who erases memories for selfish reasons. Tsuna's eyes blank at this, he despised memories to be erased because they are meant to be alive and treasure.

The Decimo narrowed his eyes, "You said that he's at the water tank… what makes you think that the Vindice will let him go?" he asked interestedly.

Giotto's blue eyes became dull, "They won't… because he's dead."

An eerie silence came into the sky.

Tsuna's brown eyes shifted to sunset-orange. "Is that so?" he said in calmly yet spine-chilling tone.

"Vindice did inform the father but he doesn't care." Giotto's blue eyes shifted to sunset-orange dramatically. "So, they kept him in that tank to raise him, even though he's brain dead but his body is growing." He said.

The Decimo closed his eyes and inhaled in an attempt to calm his fury flame, "And you think it would be best to replace him… with me." He exhaled as he understands now why his ancestor chose that particular world. Because no one knows Sawada Tsunayoshi; except very few.

"I wanted to give you a second chance, Tsuna… but this parallel world is rather dangerous but, I truly believe you'll be able to bring the light to them. With your pure Sky, it can perish the darkness. I believe you can do it. However, it's up to you. I don't want to force you." Giotto said with understanding.

Does he want to have a second chance? Tsuna thought about his family, his friends, his Guardians that he sacrificed himself for. He left his world so soon and so early. He knew that Reborn would beat the living shit out of him if he were still alive. He knew his mama would shout and cries and denied that he is dead. He knew his Guardians are mourning for him; in their own way. He knew his friends; Haru, Kyoko, Hana, and Fuuta are crying and trying to move on with their normal lives. It just shows how much he really knew his wonderful Famiglia so well.

However, he regrets not to have more memories with them. He regrets not to able to get to know the ex-Arcobaleno and bond with them. He regrets not to take his time off and see his mama. He regrets not to play baseball with his Rain Guardian. He regrets not to spend a day listening to his Storm Guardian's playing his piano. He regrets not to see his Sun Guardian's getting married to his fiancée. He regrets not to see how grown his Lightning Guardian would become. He regrets not to bake with his female Mist Guardian. He regrets not to spend a day with his male Mist Guardian after he finally released from the Vindice. He regrets not to have a promised duel with his Cloud Guardian.

Most of all, he regrets not to tell Reborn how much he was so forever thankful for.

Tsuna sighed softly as he mused further. Does he really want to have a second chance? Even though it's not his world? Not his life? They look like them, they act like them, hell, they are very similar in personality. But they are not his. But the parallel-Tsuna doesn't have anyone. Doesn't know anyone. He is all alone. And he is dead.

Then he remembered he told them about the Sky.

"We all share the same Sky, one Sky."

A small sad yet warm smile appeared on his face.

That's right.

No matter what, no matter where, the world, the dimension, the parallel worlds…

They share the same sky…

One Sky

Question.

Should he go to the parallel world where he knows that it's not them?

Even though it's his second chance and he would have to restart his life to gain his own friends and family without help this time?

Which means that it won't be easy. He will be alone in this. That means he'll be frustrated. He'll be sad. He'll be angry. He'll be lonely. He'll be jealous.

…but…

They may not be his but they are still Famiglia.

They deserve to have a bright future. The twin of parallel-Tsuna wouldn't be able to defeat the Vongola's Sins. Only he knows how to. Only he is allowing to carry the heavy burden of the sins.

Which mean they won't be experiences the harsh sinister of the Vongola's dirty dark deep secrets.

And that means… only he, himself can do it.

However, in order to do that…

He has to become a shadow behind the Vongola.

So, will he go to the parallel world?

Answer…

Yes.

He decided.

Why?

Because, after all…

No matter where…

He is the One Sky.

He would do anything to protect them, his Famiglia.

Tsuna stared straight at his ancestor's eyes calmly, "…okay."

Beneath the underground where the lab is owned by the Vindice. There are few layers of floors that held captive prisoners and punishments by the Law from Vindice. The prisoners are in their jail while the guards are watching and prevent the prisoners from fighting or escaping. It's a very usual day for the Vindice.

In the bottom floor, further back in the corner, there's a large metal door attached to the wall. Inside that room, there's a large water tank in the middle of the room. Inside of the water tank, there's a fourteen years old boy who is secured and wrapped with chains and handcuffed made of stone anti-flame. He is currently floating as his hair gently move back and forth calmly. He looked like he was in sleeping in peace.

For a dead boy.

…until his immobilized heart start to beat.

The machine in the room picked up a sound through the silent room.

Beep. Flatline. Beep. Flatline. Beep. Flatline. Beep. Beep. Flatline. Flatline.

Then his eyes slowly open to reveal his sunset-orange eyes.

Beep. Beep. Beep. Beep. Beep. Beep.

Sawada, Tsunayoshi has been dead for six years until his heart picked up on the day of October tenth at 21:27.
