Brightkit looked arouned the nursery. Vanillakit was sleeping. Alright, Vanillakit.- she thought bitterly. She feeled that she wasn't loved by her parents. Her heart was too much broken too have friends... She just coudn't. SHe didn't wanted to be like her parents at all, she feared that, if she will have friends they would be hurt by her, and she didn't wanted that. Her heart hurt from pain! She wanted to be loved... Why it seemed that she was nothing? Why? Why? SHe looked sadly at the ground , wishing that she could be happy, have friends and family... It seemed that she was a loner... SHe wanted somebody to love her... THat made her sad. SHe made a promise to herself later that day. No friends. It wasn't like she hated them all, just she didn't wanted to hurt them, like her parents hurt her... That was why the promise was made.
Later...
"Brightpaw! Don't sit in the den all the time! Go, make some friends..."- Snowstorm mewed, stepping into the medicine cat den, looking woried about Brightpaw's lonlinesss. But why? She was lonley for Moons, and she liked it! Why this seemed to be a lot of concern for Snowstorm? Her mentor was serouiouis a lot of times But in things like this? Ridiclous! She diceded to reply, feeling uneasiness at that question.
"I don't want too. I don't need friends to be happy."- she replied, her ears pricking, and Snowstorm looked really worried about this!
"Brightpaw, I'm worried. You are spending your whole time alone... Can't you just talk to others? You were always quiet, and that's worring me."- Snowstorm replied her voice sad and low, full with concern.
"I can't! I can't! I can't hurt them! THey will hate me if I do that!"- the cream she-cat replied panicked and worried about the whole friends situation.
Snowstorm looked at her.
"Brightpaw... You will not hurt your friends..."- the medicne cat replied happily.
Brightpaw smiled.
Later...
"Brightpetal..."- Sootpaw started looking interesed.
"What it is, Sootpaw?"- Brightpetal asked, not knowing what Sootpaw wanted to hear, or do.
"Can you tell me, why you didn't had any friends?"- Sootpaw asked, full of hope to hear the story.
