Lilli sat on the couch with the blindfold on. She was excited, and rightly so. Vash had told her he had a surprise for her and then had placed the blindfold on her. As she sat waiting her memories of her past birthdays since she had come to live with Vash flickered through her mind. All the happy and funny times they had had. She was always happy when her birthday came around each year, since Vash always showered her with more attention than usual.
When she heard the door open she lifted her head up slightly. When Vash took off her blindfold he handed her a box rapped in pastel pink and purple paper. "Happy birthday, Lilli!"
She smiled pulling the pretty paper off gently and lifting the lid of the box. There laying in a bed of tissue paper lay the cutest stuffed dog she had ever seen. She smiled at Vash. "Thank you so much Big Brother. I absolutely adore it.
Vash smiled, "I'm glad!"
