First TT fanfic be nice please :D rob/star paring if you squint other than that just friendship
Robin walked into the main room of Titans Tower. It was a normal Monday for them. No attack seemed to be coming, but how in the world would they ever know when one was coming until it did.
Raven was reading one of hr endless supply of books, Beast-boy and Cyborg were neck and neck battling in a video game and Starfire was happily in the kitchen baking.
Deciding it would be best for his own safety if he didn't bug raven or BB and Cyborg he walked over to Starfire.
"What are you making?" he asked casually leaning against the counter.
"I am trying to make the pancakes" she smiled. She was covered in a blue batter and the smell of burning food permeated the air. Then she looked down at herself and said with a small frown "but they are not looking like the picture in the cook book."
Robin looked down at the cook book with a picture of golden brown pancakes with a pat of butter on the top and maple syrup pooling around the sides. Then he looked over at the purple balls with a red glop covering the tops in a swirl.
To be nice he picked one up and tasted it… the little ball tasted like sulfuric blueberries. With difficulty Robin swallowed it.
"Um, how about we start over," he suggested taking the pan and throwing the 'pancakes' away.
Starfire grinned hugely and said. "Oh glorious! Do you to know how to create the pancakes that taste nice?"
Robin shrugged and said "I don't know but we can try."
So for the next two hours the boy wonder and the alien princess made pancakes. So that by the time Cyborg and Beast-boy were done with their game the two in the kitchen were covered in flour and batter, happy and, in Starfire's case, giggling uncontrollably. All the plates were bare of anything that resembled earth food but it wasn't from lack of trying. They had actually managed to create something worth eating but that was all gone now.
When Starfire got her giggles back under control she said "and tomorrow" she stopped and covered her mouth to stop from giggling again "we shall make the cookies."
"Sure Star," Robin smiled and—uselessly—wiped flour from his face. "but for now I need to clean off" he smiled at the rest of his team who were gaping open mouthed at the two messy teens.
So maybe it wasn't just a normal day after all.
