In the Back Seat

ON A DARK ROAD SOMEWHERE MILES FROM ANYWHERE...

"Brother, you are occupying more than your fair share of this vehicle."

"Relax."

"I do not like your feet on my lap."

"Tough."

"They smell bad and are covered with a sticky substan-MMPH! GAH! STOP THAT AT ONCE!"

Evil cackling filled the back seat. A pair of large bare feet, the toes wiggling, appeared briefly in the rearview mirror. Gabriel seemed to be doing his level best to stick them directly under Castiel's nose. "Knock it off back there." Dean said in a warning voice.

"I did not begin this...EEEEEE!"

The Winchesters yelled in pain as the high-ptiched noise ripped through their ears. Sam was sure his left ear would ring for the rest of his life.

"Still ticklish, little bro! Get those fingers off my forehead...you can't send me anywhere!"

"Gabriel, QUIT IT!"

With a squeal of tires, Dean slammed the Impala onto the shoulder of the road. "That's it, kids!" he growled. "Either you two stop fighting or you can both get out and teleport yourselves!" He crossed his arms and glared into the rearview. With a you're-no-fun pout, Gabriel moved away from Cass to his side of the backseat. Sputtering in outrage, Cass straightened his clothes and glared at his brother. "You ought to have more dignity."

"And you ought to get a sense of humor."

"Alright, I think you two need a time-out" Dean nodded to Sam. "Get in the back. Cass, up here with me."

Cass gave his brother one last glare as he exited the car. Gabriel smirked. As Sam settled into the backseat, the trickster leaned close and whispered, "He's ticklish just under his ribs...you might want to remember that sometime."

"You might also want to remember that my brother cries every time he sees The Sound of Music" Cass informed Sam icily. Dean started to laugh. "Does he now? Looks like you guys have something in common, Sammy."

Sam flipped Dean off. "Fuck you, Dean. That only happened once!"

"Yeah, but during the 'You are Sixteen Going on Seventeen' song?"

Gabriel and Dean laughed, but Sam and Cass were not amused. "What about you, Deanie? How about Pretty in Pink? When Molly Ringwald finally dances with the guy she's in love with?"

"I have no idea what you're talking about."

"Sure you don't."

"Whatever. Shall we go?"

"You gonna behave yourself?" Sam asked Gabriel.

"Who, me?"

Groaning, Dean put the car in gear and they headed on their way.
