It was a lovely day down in Tokyo, Japan. I had just transferred there from Cambridge, Ontario as an exchange student. I was staying at the house of a young boy named Sota. Sota lives with his mother, grandfather and older sister Kagome. Unfortunately his father had died several years before in a harsh battle in world war 2. While Sota was being annoyed by my pesky little sister in Cambridge, I was helping Kagome store away the dried pickles in the basement. The basement even has it's own well!

"Well that was the last of the jars" Kagome announced. "Wait" I said as I looked over my left shoulder "There's one by the well!" I started towards the jar, not noticing Kagomes' backpack under my feet. "Ahhhhh" I screamed as I toppled into the well. "Are you alright?" Kagome asked panicly, but there was no answer. Kagome looked into the darkness of the well below. She grabbed a flashlight from her backpack and flicked it on rapidly. She peered back down into the well, but nobody was there. "Oh no, how could this have happened?!"

I opened my eyes, only to realize that I was sitting in the darkness of the well. It took all my strength, but I found a way to climb out. I stood up and brushed the dust off of my clothes. I looked up only to see a pair of eyes staring back at me. I backed up slowly, but ended up tripping over the rim of the well. "Ahhhhh" I screamed again as I fell backwards into it. "Gotcha", a familiar voice said. "Kagome!" I gasped in relief. "Yup, it's me alright" Kagome replied, helping me out of the well "but next time try not falling on me. "Alright" I giggled.

"Kagome, who exactly is this and how did she get through the well?" I looked around to see where the mysterious voice was coming from. It was coming from a man standing near the well, or what looked like a man. He had long silver hair and from what I could see dog ears. "So who is she?" he repeated in a deep voice. I took another glimpse at his handsome face before turning to Kagome. "So what is he, your boyfriend or something?" I asked hoping she would say no. "He wishes!" Kagome answered rudely. The mysterious hunk snorted and looked away. "Anyway" Kagome said "This is InuYasha." "Nice to meet you" I said shaking his hand "My name is (your name here)." Kagome grabbed her backpack and started towards some trees in the distance. "We better get moving if we're going to meet up with the others," Kagome stated. "What others?" I asked. "You'll see when we get there," she replied.

"Hey when exactly are we going to get there?" I asked "my feet hurt." "We're almost there now", Inuyasha replied softly. "There it is!" Kagome said. I looked beyond a big rock in the distance and saw a small cottage. "Miroku and Sango will be waiting." "Who are they?" I questioned her. "They're our friends" Kagome replied. When we got to the cottage, I noticed the door was made from the same type of sheets I use for curtains in my room. We walked in the cottage slowly. When I was fully inside, I looked around. The cottage was basically empty other than the three pairs of eyes staring at me.

"Hey everybody!" Kagome said happily. "I brought some more supplies for us." She looked at me as she laid her backpack down. "Kagome" a man in the corner said (a cute man at that) "Who's your friend?" he asked staring at me again. "I was getting to that," she replied. She turned to me "(your name here), this is Sango" she said pointing to a young woman sitting next to the man. "This is Shippo," she continued, pointing at a young boy on Sangos lap, "and this, this airhead over here is Miroku." Kagome said giggling. After we were all introduced I sat down next to Miroku.
