Roxas hated Valentine's Day. To him, it was just another stupid holiday that reminded him that he had no one to share the holiday with. Friends and family did not count. Not in his book, anyway.
Occasionally, he would wonder what Valentine's Day would be like if he had someone special to share it with.
Axel—his best friend—had realized Roxas didn't like Valentine's day, or as Axel would like to call it, RPMD. (Roxas' Pissy Mood Day)
Axel decided to do something about it.
So when V-Day came around this year Roxas was sure to be surprised. Or so had Axel hoped.
"Got a minute, Roxy?" Roxas blinked. "Uh..sure, Axel." Axel's green eyes gleamed with something. Something the blond couldn't read.
"So what do you want, Axel?" Axel smirked. "Very straightforward, aren't we?" Axel slung his hand over Roxas' shoulder. Roxas stared at Axel's hand like it was of great importance. "Seriously Axel, what do you want?" Axel leaned in closer. "It's Valentine's Day." The blond's eye slightly twitched. "...And?" Axel leaned closer to Roxas' face, only inches apart. Heat ran across Roxas' face. Axel was too close. And since when was Roxas against a wall?!
The bell rang. 'Thank God.' the blond thought. "Welllookatthetime,timetogotoclasskaybyeseeya." (Well look at the time, time to go to class 'kay bye see 'ya.) Roxas tried to run to class, which is something he rarely did. Something grabbed his wrist. Axel. "Uh uh uh, I still have to give you something."
Roxas didn't like where this going. Before Roxas could protest, a small box decorated with a red ribbon was shoved into his hands. Roxas had his eyes tightly shut but once the small box was shoved into his hands, he opened them. "Valentine's Day—" Roxas gaped. "Chocolate!?"
Axel frowned. "What, don't you like chocolate?" Roxas awkwardly laughed. "No it's just that I was expecting something—never mind. Thanks, Axel." Roxas smiled.
The two walked to class. "So do you like RPMD—I mean Valentine's Day. Yeah, do you like V-Day now?" Roxas shrugged.
"See 'ya, Ax." Axel and Roxas parted ways, both going to different classes.
Axel turned around to see if Roxas was gone. "Man, he almost caught on to my plan." Axel sweat dropped. "Oh well, I'll just save this gift till next Valentine's day." The same glint appeared in Axel's eyes. This time it was easier to read. The glint was hope. Or maybe it was just his usual glint of mischief. Who knows?

Axel: Roxas has a book?!?!!!
Me: ...Uh..yeah..sure..
Axel: Oh! Where is it! Where is it!
Me: Oh uhm, in that closet over there. -Points-
Axel: Okay! - Looks in closet-
Me: -Locks closet-
-Roxas walks in-
Roxas: Have you seen my notebook?
Me: -Nod- In the closet over there.
Roxas: Oh, okay.
Me: -Pushes Roxas in the closet and locks door-
Bye bye! Seems like I have some business to attend to. -Takes out camcorder-
