FLUFF! NO FLAMES PLEASE! This is my second fic, the first being Roses and Thorns for Teen Titans.
Harry sat down in the booth next to Hermione, his beloved girlfriend. She smiled and kissed him. "Heya, handsome." She whispered.
"Heya, yourself." He whispered back. "I wonder if Draco is EVER going to ask out Ginny. Maybe he's afraid Ron's ghost is going to seek revenge if he does."
Ron's death and Draco's allegiance in the Final Battle brought about many changes in the world. Most Weasley's were still in mourning; even Percy was upset, perhaps the most. Ginny Weasley, on the other hand, either was not mourning, or hid it well. Draco had become one of the trio, and also mourned the death of Ron. He had had his eye on Miss Gin for awhile, and the WHOLE school knew it, too.
In walked Ginny and Draco, holding hands and grinning. "Look's like he did." whispered Hermione.
"Hi, Harry. Hi, Hermione!" Said Ginny. "Draco just asked me out!" Draco looked a little embarrassed.
"It was nothing, Gin. Ah, what the heck, yes it was something." Draco said, and kissed her. It was a mark of how much he respected Ginny to have waited 6 months to give her time to grieve for her brother. Sometimes Harry thought that Draco spent that time grieving himself. He had, after all, lost his mother, his father and his unborn brother. But, Draco had coped, spending a lot of time talking it out with Hermione. He changed, no longer picking on students, or mouthing off to teachers.
He kissed Ginny once more, then winking at Harry and Hermione, got on bended knee. Harry and Hermione knew what was coming next. Draco said seriously (and Dumbledorey), "Ginerva Molly Weasley, will you marry me?" Tears sprang to Ginny's eyes.
"Yes, Draco Sun Malfoy. Yes."
